I'm with jamie regarding L20b i got close to putting one into my ke11 a year or two ago.

i did a 'dummy' fit into a ke35 and it was a very close fit. the L20b i had, had a backwards sump that fouled on the x-member. if it wasnt for that it wouldnt have been too bad...

got some crappy blurry photos if anyone is interested...

I'd love to see a vtec honda motor in a ke rolla

why don't you try going down the SNEEZI (ke30) road.. what was that? 2ltr turbo of some sort.

A Honda K20 (Integra, Accord Euro Type-R) motor would be awesome (if you had the money). Available with up to 210hp, and can easily be worked up to more whether it be N/A, turbo, or supercharged. Gearbox choices might pose a slight problem, but at least the engine spins the right way. Previous Honda engines spin in the opposite direction to almost all other cars on the road supposedly, but this changed with the K20. Plus you could always go for the K24 (Accord Euro) if you wanted. It's only 141kW (180hp), but has about 225Nm of torque.

"SNEEZI" was a 2Ltr Fiat turbo engine if i remember correctly.....you'll find it somewhere on the hot 4's page.

what about a mitsubitshi motor 2L turbo in a ke70 rolla that would be interesting

Didn't someone already suggest the Mitsubishi 4G63 with the Starion gearbox? You could go as late as an Evo III version, which would be PLENTY of power.

That sounds interesting. I'd so love a turbo 4G63 for my Galant. I'd settle for simply a twincam 4G63, but my Galant with an Evo III motor would be just tops. Of course it'd eat through CV's even faster than it does currently, but it'd be worth it just to see the looks on the faces of WRX drivers when I blow them away at the lights (once I get traction). :P

a mate of mine has (had? it might have been sold by now) an import turbo galant with a bit of work done to the engine. one night a little while ago we took it out and gteched it with the boost wound up to 15psi. he was half full so i was driving. sooo much power! :P

Gee, that'd be pretty sweet running 15psi. A guy up here has a VR4 with an Evo III turbo on it (and I think it runs about the same boost). It seems pretty quick, but the driver leaves a lot to be desired. My mate with the LC Torana beat him around Hidden Valley (with ease).

There is a 1ggze up here in the wreckers for sale - HINT HINT, NUDGE NUDGE! :y:

Id put something twin cam 2Ltr in it.......

But don't ask me, I love toyota engines and toyotas alike..... ;)

it was honestly pretty scary, it's "only" a 14 second car but it was the first time i'd both driven and gotten up something with boost. just the way it comes on so fiercely the more you rev it, and it gets more scary the more gears you pick

boosting in fourth and watching the speedo just keep winding, it turned me off turbo cars until i learn to drive alot better :y: my mate reckons you get used to it, and it just seems normal, even un-exciting to him now, but i wouldn't say i'd be keen to try racing or getting broad in a car with that much power, and that sort of power delivery

i'll stick to na corollas for now ;)
