Raven Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 Ew, hardcore *shudders* We're still writing songs. You'll just have to wait till we're ready before I give the name away :D Quote
nickyboy Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 well i hate straight up metal double dragon :D closed casket ew ew ew  Quote
Raven Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 I know the vocalist from Double Dragon. Closed Casket I also know the vocalist of but can't get into their music at all. Just not my thing. Too many blast beats. All I'll say is that my band uses syncopated rhythms so I like doing awesome guitar rhythms and having the drums follow the pattern. Very Fear Factory in parts. Quote
nickyboy Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 i can't get into either of the above bands lol closed casket were u at there very first gig... at the underground Quote
Raven Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 (edited) i can't get into either of the above bands lol closed casket were u at there very first gig... at the underground Nope. Sure wasnt. I've played at the underground with my old shitty band before though. Thing I can't stand about gheycore, I mean hardcore, is the chugga chugga breakdowns. Show some musicianship :D Edited March 13, 2007 by Raven Quote
nickyboy Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 thats not hardcore!! ur tlaking bout metalcore!! :D hardcore is fast paced kinda like punk Quote
Raven Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 Same shit. Punk is even worse. No wonder you and I have such different musical tastes. You prefer the standard 4 chord progression :D Quote
nickyboy Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 lol and u prefer a face melting solo hahahaha Quote
Raven Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 I hate lead guitar actually  Hence the syncopated rhythms. Do you know what syncopation is? :D Quote
