SoulSearcher Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 so I was driving along yesterday and my back started to ache and I reached down the side of the seat to adjust the lumbar support and realised my car doesn't have one! shock horror... It got me to thinking, what things would you add to your car *wish list* stuff??? ie. little luxuries for me, its the lumbar support!!!! Lesley :) Quote
Raven Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 I'm rebuilding the coupe eventually anyway, so reclining race seats are going in and a few extra gauges. :) Quote
Des Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 Heated/Massager seats and dash lights that change colour as the revs get higher ie white when in normal rev ranges then yellow when they pick up a bit then red once you are in the redline. Quote
Valandor Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 at the moment number 1 on my to add list is a stereo. engine sounds good. esp now it actually sounds good but need tunes Quote
Jono Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 (edited) a plate to cover the hole in the floor from moving the shifter backwards. just been so lazy i haven't done it yet. it currently has a bit of cardboard wedged in there but it doesn't stop the noise enough. its also a bit drafty, you get hot air from around the exhaust come through if you crack the windows a bit. all fixed now. now i want a new oil pressure sender so i can see what oil pressure i've got. JiP Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 Wish List *A/C *Sound System *Holder for my expensive Sunnies (something i could steal from a new car and adapt it to mine.) *Power Windows *Remove clock and replace with smaller fuel/temp gauge *Remove Fuel/Temp gauge and replace it with a Tacho *A nice old school steering wheel. *Some nice old shool mags. For my project car, basically what i have on Lolla and all that. Quote

Taz_Rx Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 *Remove Fuel/Temp gauge and replace it with a Tacho :) I think all I want (or need) in the rolla now is: some sort of fuel level indication EFI and a blue bottle in the boot!! :yak: :D Quote

Taz_Rx Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 make sure you make up a skid plate to put under the diff centre!!!! :) .......only time a fixed axle would be an advantage!!! :yak: Quote
