Ae82 4door Hatchback

have another project car. just acquired a 1984 ae82 corolla. (4 door hatchback).

 

i'm planning to rebuild the car for daily drive by upgrading some stuff. here's what i have planned so far:

 

1) engine upgrade to 4afe (from an ae101) with auto tranny. will this bolt in? the stock engine is 4a.

2) i read that ae101 front springs with 101 struts and 101 brakes will fit

3) 101 rear springs with 101 struts with old ae86 drum brakes will fit

 

can anybody confirm on the above?

 

and feel free to include other possible compatible upgrades.

My ae82 seca had a 4AFC in it so a 4AF does bolt in.

AE92 front bumpers fit AE82's and same with the dash but some time and alot of effort is required to fit the dash.
