KE20 V6 Turbo Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 (edited) This thread has got me thinking... I'm doing a KE at the moment that will be drag raced. Ive got 5x 114 Pro stars.... I see you have the R32 disc and caliper and I know that 15in rims wont fit. Has anyone tried the Z31 turbo 5x114 disc and calipers???? Are the Z31 struts the same? Ive been trying to track down a Z31 turbo to scavenge from. Are there any discs that are 5x114 that fit the R31 strut and still able to use the 15in rim? This is what I'm chasing... From what ive seen the Z31 could be a viable option. Has anyone tried??? Edited April 27, 2011 by KE20 V6 Turbo Quote
BUZ440 Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 I can vouch for the Pugeot/Hilux with XT130 coil overs, its a magic combo yet to test hill climbs combined with disc brake hilux diff, but around mt cootha, mt mee, and other places i get stuck in, stops on dime I have been leaning towards the S6 RX7 setup of late, even the brembo setup from RRS, obviously modded to suit, where does it end Dan if you draggin the KE20, have you looked at the strange setup by chance? I'm assuming with a deist chute youd pull up well, contact rigoli racing and see what they use on their 4G63 KE20 Using nissan gear is good, but to suit it to the corolla is a headache IMO, but keep at it if you do Quote

I'm not worried about chute fitment as ive done my fair share. Strange setup lol... I'm not a rich man. I am just wanting a solid brake combo with little weight added. I have EB rear brakes and a Willwood Proportioning valve, just deciding on fronts and the Z31s seem an easy way out. In a car that weighs 900kg wet they should work great. I was just wondering if anyone had tried the Z31 hub on a R31 strut... Quote
BUZ440 Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 I know I'm not much help on this, and seems the previous posts are limited to your query, Perhaps contact maddat and get a 31 spindle and hub kit and get some measurements on LCA to suit perhaps? Quote
