Hi, and welcome.

Where was your dad trying to put it? If he was trying to put it where the old AM/FM radio is, you will have to modify the mounting brackets on the sides. If you go to any car audio place, they will put in the little console between the dash and the gearstick. They will not put where the old one is. They say it won't fit. Hope that helps

first we tryed to put it into that little console you talked about before but could't coz did not have brackets to make it fit right.

Next we took the ash tray out and tryed to fit it there but had no luck :)

I got mine fitted at a car audio place, and they placed it in the console, and they made brackets and glue to make it stay in place. The only down side is that the gear stick can some times get in the way of changing cd's

Geoff may do it cheap......and I did say MAY....... Idon't think I have his current mobile number so if someone can send it to me so I can get these two to talk or get in contact with him for Glenn that would be great as Geoff is not on here much due to not having access to the net that often.
