irokin Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 its a malpassi regulator, but its worth checking.. I never thought of that one...... Turbosmart recommend you check the diaphragm every 6-12 months and more frequent depending on what kind of fuel and additives you use (chemicals like tolulene (read octane booster) are harsher on the diaphragm). It goes right down to 1 week checking intervals for nitromethane. Quote
love ke70 Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 are you sure its tolulene in octane booster? isnt that shit carcinogenic? Quote
Fat Bastard Customs Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 I'm pretty sure tolulene is carcinogenic, but so is unleaded fuel, brake pad dust and a few other things in and around a car. Just don't drink it and you'll be fine :) Quote
Dan Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Yeah toulenes the best thing since sliced bread :) Quote
love ke70 Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 is brake pad dust still carcinogenic? i know it used to be back in the days of asbestos, but i thought it was no longer...could be tho...ive got enough lung fulls of it... owell, all in the name of fun aye... Quote
