ok every body, i have taken delivery of my 2tc,

started to take the 4k out,

all that needs to come out now is radiator, unbolt the exhaust and both of the cross members,

i degreased the 2t to find a cleanly painted grey block :S also flushed the water inlets and outlets to get rid of rust

i plan to paint the engine brite red tomorow and the sump black instead of white.

the cars engine bay will also be cleaned, painted and polished as i want it to look the goods :hmm:

thats about it, ill get some pictures tomorow

ok update, engine is in the engine bay, gearbox is in the trans tunnel, all bolted to there x members.

had a problem with t18 mounts so i had to use the ones that come on the engine,

also having the problem of thermo hitting the radiator so were making a new shroud some da.

 

didnt get the engne bay as clean as i had hoped but its better, will polish when its running and I'm bored

Looking good mate! I'm not being picky or anything when i say this, when it comes time to bolt the carbs on you may run into trouble, in the pics it seems like there isnt enough room between the manifold and the master cylender???

no need to be picky, i know that its a very very small gap. but they should go on, and ill get some custom tubes made up with a down ward sweep or something

My car still has the ke30 master cylinder Rob put in it as the ke55 master fouled the webers on the 2tg.

 

Let me know if you have trouble with it and I may do you a stright swap. Only catch is you've gotta do most of the work!! :) :yes:

update yo, carbs arrived, every thing went good till they fouled on the booster

found a t18 on eBay and picked it up for my parts car,

hope it doesn't end up like the last one

lol just make sure you hide all axes away from fletch and your dad LOL because i swear i didn't have any part in the cutting of that coupe up :sob: lol just don't try to strip this one in 5min take your time!
