if i could legally fit a 12a (without registering my car as an icv) then i'd already have a motor and be learning how to rebuild rotaries instead of piston engines

people want alot of money for 10As, they're rare. there are plenty of threads on ausrotor "will swap good 12a/13b for 10a any condition" and you pretty much need to buy a 12A or 13B anyway to swap all the good reliable things over like distributor etc. i like rotaries but it's not worth buying two engines to make one thats not even going to go that well :)

because a decent ke25 with no motor and gearbox cost me $1500 and i have heaps of spares. a decent RX2 shell with no motor or gearbox would cost >$5k and i'd have to take out a loan to buy a friggin BADGE for it never mine actual real parts. mazdas are nice, but you pay for em

i like the rotary but little else. wheels don't suit it at all.

 

the te27 from the all toyota day looks shitloads better. probably cost less too. i know who will lose out less financially when it comes to resale.
