MD0086 Posted July 3, 2004 Report Posted July 3, 2004 Did some one say 12aT Ke55 mmmm I'm in heaven Quote
Super Jamie Posted July 4, 2004 Author Report Posted July 4, 2004 if i could legally fit a 12a (without registering my car as an icv) then i'd already have a motor and be learning how to rebuild rotaries instead of piston engines Quote
Super Jamie Posted July 4, 2004 Author Report Posted July 4, 2004 people want alot of money for 10As, they're rare. there are plenty of threads on ausrotor "will swap good 12a/13b for 10a any condition" and you pretty much need to buy a 12A or 13B anyway to swap all the good reliable things over like distributor etc. i like rotaries but it's not worth buying two engines to make one thats not even going to go that well :) Quote
demuire Posted July 4, 2004 Report Posted July 4, 2004 Well, then, why don't you buy an RX then? Then you can play with rotaries all day long... Quote
Super Jamie Posted July 4, 2004 Author Report Posted July 4, 2004 because a decent ke25 with no motor and gearbox cost me $1500 and i have heaps of spares. a decent RX2 shell with no motor or gearbox would cost >$5k and i'd have to take out a loan to buy a friggin BADGE for it never mine actual real parts. mazdas are nice, but you pay for em Quote
ae71neo Posted July 5, 2004 Report Posted July 5, 2004 That orange ke25 is awesome, makes me want one! Quote
Teddy Posted July 5, 2004 Report Posted July 5, 2004 (edited) Super Jamie's car IS awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *spell fairy strikes again!* Edited July 5, 2004 by Grimwolge Quote
Super Jamie Posted July 5, 2004 Author Report Posted July 5, 2004 thanks :) custom rocks. it's got a 13b peripheral port and aircon! so much plastic chroming too, must have cost a shitheap Quote
Felix Posted July 5, 2004 Report Posted July 5, 2004 i like the rotary but little else. wheels don't suit it at all. the te27 from the all toyota day looks shitloads better. probably cost less too. i know who will lose out less financially when it comes to resale. Quote
