seabiscuit Posted October 24, 2010 Report Posted October 24, 2010 Second that, pics! What type of lancer? So did you get rego sorted seabiscuit? Also if you want to offload the red car/parts I/or a friend might be keen  Rego is all sorted, Bart! Thanks for helping me out with the headlights so quickly. I've already sold the engine to one of my friends for his KE30. I'll be keeping the gearbox, but everything else is up for grabs if anyone needs anything. Free parts! Quote

Moses_33 Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 And then she dies again. Sorry I don't post too frequent. Have been having a brilliant time driving my wagon. Unfortunately friday week ago in the bad rain. She stepped out on me at 95 kph on the highway from QBN to Bungo. Just where it comes to the overtaking lane. Three things to be very thankful for. 1: no one was coming the other way at the time. 2: The guy I was overtaking kept going and the guy behind me saw what was happening and stopped. 3: I was not injured and did not roll the car. Car is not badly damaged but needs the drivers rear quarter pulled out and the tail lights replaced. With rego due on this coming friday I just don't have any cash left to fix her again. So she is being parked on the farm and efforts will now go into the Coupe properly. Moses P.S anyone going to the Hillclimb on Sunday 31/10? Quote

Also the exhaust would be good if you've still got it I can come help you pull it apart if you like too ta Diff is very noise free-less. It sounds like it's running on bush bearings and the LH brake line is buggered. If it's of any use to you, the axles have good bearings as far as I know. Forgot about the exhaust actually! Bit too late to ask for anything now. Take it off and it's yours, Bart! :) Depending on whether my friend (engine buyer) wants to help out, that'd be mad if you could come round this saturday or sunday. Send me a txt if you can and I'll let my mate know there's a spare set of hands to help us make it quicker and easier. Edited October 26, 2010 by seabiscuit Quote

sammo[RL] Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 Greetings, I hope the christmas time cheer finds everyone well! Its been a while, but now i have that internet thingy, should be on a bit more. Good to see some nice cars at marques! Quote
sammo[RL] Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 Any wild stories/pics from summernats? I couldn't make it, but was out in braddon on sat night, and it was a little quiet...did see a white 55, and a yellow 30, with a white vynil roof! Quote
Sloth Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 Got a couple of pics from Summernats (700 or so). Was my first year, was an interesting car show, quite different to anything I'd been to before. There was a couple of rollas cruising around the circuit (with crazy supercharged engines). Got to see some of the amazing effort people had put into their cars (might post a couple of pics of some of the cool cars and burnouts) and some of the low points of bogan culture (I probably won't be able to post these pictures...). Overall though had a blast. Then on Sunday I went to Wakefield for the drift day being run by Initial Drift Australia. Unfortunately wasn't driving (just taking photos). The weather was shocking (as Wakefield always is) it was raining and windy, but there was some good drifting to watch. The rain was a little discouraging, so I think I got there around 11:15 and stayed till just before 3. Might have to try the 86 out there next time :) Quote
