Differences Between 5k And 7k

I have a modified 5K in my KE70 but i want MORE POWER, as does everybody. I want to know what the internal differences are btween the 5 and 7K motor because i plan to stroke out the 5K to up the displacement.

 

1. Are the crankshafts the same?

2. What is the difference in the length of the rods?

 

Any help would be appreciated.

its been covered before on here, don't know if you had a search.

from memory the crank is different and you need block mods if you are thinking of putting a 7k crank in the 5k block.

Yeh i thought about it but with all the new laws with P platers i thought the less conspicuous the mods the better.
