Dad thought pfft sum shitty skyline and also started to rev the lights went green and we took off the skyline killed us at the start but then we caught up and passed him. at the next set of lights he caught up and put his window down and no shit it was a cop he said ur under arrest dad and i shat our selfs but then he smiled and said don't worrie I'm off duty and took off.

dad pulled down the next side road and he and i laughed for about 10 min and drove home doing 50 all the way

You should have taken his plates and reported him to the on duty cops for drag racing. don't actually say you were involved but saw it from behind or something. ;) That reminds me of the time I pulled up at a set of lights. A VY commie pulled up next to me with blingin rims, slammed, black tint and exhaust. The "gentlemen" in the front had their windows down with music blarin. He started to rev up and not being one to back down to a shittie commie started to rev back. Just before the lights went green a pulsar coming from the side ran the red and came hootin round. Next thing lights were on in the window and the commie was off to pull over the pulsar. I was gobsmakced thinkin of what could have been. I also saw at the servo a few weeks back a WRX. It was a older model like mid 90's but had some huge discs and calipers on it. Thats what caught my attention and the closer I looked I realised the dash is fully fitted out with a big pc screen, red n blue lights ect. Sneaky bastards.....

that could be the wrx that lurks down by the sourthen expressway. coz when i was at marden senoir college i had a friend who owned an evo 4/5 and he lost his license after being raced by a wrx on the southern express way ;) but i suppose thats what happens when u take up a challenge from a car that go flying past u and slows down then speeds up

A few years back the cop's in Canberra got them selves some fancy "wrx eating" Volvo's . anyway's the cop saw a WRX driving a little fast a decided to stop him, the WRX took off and the cop drove the Volvo in to a brick wall... it was only a few weeks old. I don't think I have seen the other Volvo since LOL.

Everybody needs to be very alert to new cars if you are going to do something stupid.

The police are doing burnouts to get into the crowd unoticed like lastnight.

Dark window tinted F6 typhoon doing a line lock and then when a VN wagon decides to cut a one wheeler donut the F6 thened turned on his red and blue party lights,

Then some fella egging him on just went OH F**K, Ran back to his car and i have never seen 150 cars drive so fast together.

If your going to do or be in stupid situations be prepared for to get a fine and your car impounded.

Isn't what the cops doing considered entrapment? I suppose that they're not forcing anyone to do anything wrong, but breaking the law to catch other offenders seems a bit off.

Well some people go there just to do burnouts which is still illegal but not to bad and some go to do some very stupid and very dangerous acts so if the police catch you, you deserve to be caught.

At one of these locations there is only one way in and out (so stupid) and the cops block off the entry and exit and go threw every single car looking for defects and booking people they catch racing or doing burnouts.

If you see a rent-a-cop drive past you know you have 10 mins, 15 mins at the tops to leave and make it out with out being stoped,

And no I'm not going to say where these places are so anyone don't ask.

W3RD.

Seems pretty odd. I can understand driving a modified car down to such places so it blends in and you can find offenders, but going and doing skids...? Very weird.

Same goes for giving it a rev at the lights? Not quite as bad, but still seems a little weird.

don't trust anything less than 3 years old in canberra during the nats, ACT cops can't drive the odometers over 60,000 kms as a rule so its fairly safe to race everything older than that
