Beau-Jangles Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 (edited) Hey guys, i recently bought a gemmie wagon and just discovered that it has air horns in it. But ... the airhorns don't work. They are connected to a button next to the handbrake "stealth" style and when the button is pressed nothing happens except a clicking noise from the compressor thingy thats comes with the horns. Does anyone know what this problem could be. Just run out of air?? or totally f@$ked? it isn't a big deal i just rekon itd be hilarious havin an airhorn. or anywhere that fixes these kind of things Cheers Beau :) Edited November 1, 2006 by Beau-Jangles Quote
Des Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 Start the car and hit the button and see if the compressor pumps any air at all ? Take one of the horns out and blow into it as hard as you can and it SHOULD go off a bit. If its pumping air to the horns and no noise they are probably f**ked. Des :) :) Quote
aaron69 Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 Yeah i bought my car yesterday and figured out it has 3air horns in it lol, they arent wired up yet, when i wire them up it till be funn lol.. Quote
Beau-Jangles Posted November 1, 2006 Author Report Posted November 1, 2006 Yeh i looked at them closer. There is no air being pushed into the horns. It just clicks over. Is it possible to get them "re-gassed" or whatever. Maybe an electrical fault. Who would know how to fix this shit. Auto electrician?? Quote
Xany Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 It's probably just the compressor is rooted.....buy a new set.. $20 and all fixed... Quote
