Ok i have a ke35 with a 3k in her i have just got extractors and I'm about to put a exzorst system on her i was thinking about a 2 inch but i have been told that for a corolla it isnt worth it (i was horified) so what do u think i should put on her. Then i was talking to my cousin and he said when he put his exzorst system on his carby wasnt taking enough air in, if so what sort of carby should i put on her.

Thanks heaps Luke :)

shouldn't make that much difference to the carb, just chuck it on.

if it does screw with the carb, just get it tuned, it wont change enough to be a problem.

a 2" would be heaps big enough for a 3k.. you wont notice much of a gain in power if any maybe 2hp.. but if you stick a bigger carb/carbs it wold make a significance increase in perfomance, well enough to feel it/hear it. :)

i ran a 2.5 inch system on a 4k, was a total pig of the mark and the noise was stupid, after 30 min i was deaf for an hour, but it was good for 20kms extra per gear on dirt

check the FAQ someone smart wrote all the whats and whys in there i think

(1 3/4 for a k motor i think)

i run a 2" system with one lukey muffler and extractors on my ke11, sounds good and seems to have made a little bit of a difference, people say 2" is to big but i think its fine, if you wanted to upgrade your carby you could stick a down draught weber on it but theres no problems with the old asians

dumpy tips are the only way to go, just don't buy a cannon because they don't sound real healthy,

this is mine, extractors 2'' and one cannon.

it is too loud for road use

as for the carb mine wouldnt idle but that was easy fixed
