well i jsut got an ae71 wagon. i thought it might kind of fit in here so i may aswell post it up, well except the semi flashy paintwork.

its all stock except for the paint and those sub boxes that came in the boot. I'm just planning to replace a few parts and then get it up for rego and build it up as a nice daily driver as i get the money. the 4ac sounds pretty beefy with no muffler or air filter, so I'm not sure of how much if a downgrade it will be from my twincam seca. :)

yeah i bought it pretty quickly because ive had a bit of trouble with buying cars in the past (an ae71 panel van and 2 t18s)

today i got a chrome air filter for it, which was free so its ok. next i need to put in a cd player and get a few things cleaned for rego.

and up full close, the paint doesnt look too great, its not perfect, and there is still rust. but from normal distance it looks quite good, the glitter changes in the light and isnt too bad for how blingy it is:P the glitter isnt as heavy flake as most are, so it just looks like shiny green/blue

well thats only the guages from the t18 cluster. they pretty much bolt right in, but the temp gauge doesnt fit with the speedo and tacho. maybe i could have trimmed them, but i wanted to move the temp guage anyways.

now I'm about to get ready for a blueslip finally. the rust holes are fixed, and almost everything is perfect. except i don't think theyll like the air cleaner, nor the exhaust.

but heres some extra info about the seats for slapper.

the seats were from an ae82 csx. i used one ae71 rail, and one ae82 rail on each seat, i think the inside ones are the ae82 rails. this was because the floor is too narrow to fit both side mount rails in.

to get the seats sitting correctly i had to cut the outside rails off, and screw the support brackets back onto the seat base, the ae71 rails bolt straight into the seat base, so it wasnt too difficult. they pretty much go straight in with a bit of thinking, except i couldnt get the adjustable base to work, so its not adjustable now.

if you want to know anymore just ask :y:

heres the exhaust...post-2101-1164782085_thumb.jpg
