I think you are getting confused ke30corolla.coupe.

The KE50's are a very rare car, as seen here

(Sorry for borrowing the photo KE50).

The KE30 two doors, while being rare, are no where near as rare as KE50's

If i were you, i'd try to restore it to the best of my ability becuase since it is so rare, one day it may be worth something.

keep it!

coolest little rolla ever.

its such a multi purpose type of car... you go to the beach? no problem, the rear seats fold flat with plenty of room for a surfboard etc. hitting the town with a few mates? no problem, leave the rear seats up and it seats four people. need to overtake a truck? no problem, drop it down a gear and listen to its little heart rev (in my case anyway... 2T powah!! :)).

and its a two door! can't get much more flexibility than that... practicality and the sportyness of a 2 door in one.

Tom ('KE50') is right, such a versitile car! I can't wait to get my KE50 project going - There'll definately be pics on here for sure!

The most unique things I like about the KE50 is the factory 5 speed, the factory tacho and sports dash, the cloth seats (more comfortable than my mates VX SS Commodore) and the Pillarless doors - they are most unique (as you can see in the pic of Tom's "KE50"'s white one) - A very unique and rare feature on a corolla, especially in Australia (Pillarless doors resemble the american yank tanks) - and they actually did make the KE50 for the American market - at that time of the 70's when the fuel crisis was on in America, & so that's why it's built tough the way it is and resembles american cars more than any other Corolla!

So I can't stress enough how rare and unique the KE50 is and how I really think you should keep it and do it up!

Abit off topic but has anyone noticed that they look alot like the front end of the early Cressidas??

Basicly the front end is the same. Has the bulge around the headlights and the bonnet ends way before the start of the front end.

I found it on a Cressida car forum. I thought it was odd that there was a whole car forum dedicated to Cressidas then i realised, i'm a member of Rollaclub.
