Wish i had a genuine TE27, but there so expensive. whats the exact difference from a aus delivery 25 apart from the 1600 am presuming its a celica motor and the slightly different front end. nice find old mags like that have so much more info than new ones. :) like do we really want to know how to fit neons and all that drifter ricer garbage. not here want info on cool stuff like what lift cam to put into my small block to get 8000 rpm not that i have a small block but you know what i mean. will save link and read more fully later but nice find. Super Jamie Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 there were alot of differences between KE2x and TE27 interior-wise, te27 was top of the line. nice leather seats, tacho dash, gauges in the center externally, there is alot of trim that is te27 only. look at pictures of them, but stuff like the grilles, badges, tail lights, indicators, etc te27 had totally different running gear. a different engine crossmember, different struts and dampers, different gearbox, larger diff. they also ran 4x4.5" stud pattern, instead of the older rotary stud pattern like ke20 Quote
