mumblezzz Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 After the disapointing cancellation of the motorkhana last weekend, my cars been getting a bit soft and needs a good beating to whip it into shape. and what better way to do it than having some fun in the dirt. No what fun is all that thrashing with no one to share the fun with so lets see a show of hands from rollaclub whos attending this weekend? Sup regs and shit can be made available on demand so get your arse into gear. Quote
demuire Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 I should be going out to watch, but no driving for me as the grounds will be too rough I think. Quote
mumblezzz Posted June 21, 2004 Author Report Posted June 21, 2004 Will there be any particularly large holes to worry about. Should i bother to jack the car up a bit? Quote
demuire Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 I have no idea, I've never been out there. I've just been told it could be a bit rough... Quote
mumblezzz Posted June 22, 2004 Author Report Posted June 22, 2004 As long as theres no big ass rocks to surgically remove suspension components. Quote
demuire Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Shouldn't be... I'm just worried about taking my front bar off and my exhaust off (have already dented the exhaust in 2 places...) Quote
mumblezzz Posted June 23, 2004 Author Report Posted June 23, 2004 I'm assuming I'll need a third party extension for this one? Quote
demuire Posted June 23, 2004 Report Posted June 23, 2004 Well, looks like I've been convinced to take the white Corolla out this Sunday, will have a squiz at how "smooth" this track is before I make my final decision though... Else I might get a drive in a certain very PHAT Datto1600 (that I wish I bought...) :) Quote
Redwarf Posted June 23, 2004 Report Posted June 23, 2004 If they're going to run Datgirls old car, you shouldn't have a problem with yours. :) Quote
mumblezzz Posted June 23, 2004 Author Report Posted June 23, 2004 Before I make an ass of myself and show up to the wrong place, this is being held at the place next to QR right? Quote
demuire Posted June 23, 2004 Report Posted June 23, 2004 I... think so. And yeah I suppose if Dino can do it then there's no real reason Hal shouldn't be able to, I'm just a girl :) (and then on Sunday afternoon Rob gets a call from a little poor crying fook about how the cars fallen to bits...) Quote
irokin Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 isnt that track made out of clay??? Should be smooth if it is... Quote
demuire Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 It's not completely on the autocross track (which is relatively smooth). It's partially in the paddock in the middle which is a little rough, but I'm told they're going to drag some very large bits of metal around on Saturday to smooth it out... Quote
