so i need to get a new rear mount for the ke70? right

hey all, I just picked up a ke70 5 speed for my ke30 which has a ke70 4k this gearbox is off this engine so input shaft is the same, I know I have to cut the hole further down for the stick, but looking at the rear engine mount it's not the same as my ke30??? I don't have the ke70 crossmember so i can't tell if it's going to line up with my orginal cross member holes??? Can any one help me please Paulie

hey all I'm looking for the rubber bits that "clip"? into your door frame for your windows to wind up into i don't really know what there called but I'v tryed many car automotive places and can't get onto any, I'f any one knows were abouts i can get my hands onto a pair it would be great Thanks Paulie :lolcry:

Yeah its a reco engine, As the rolla is my daily driver I'm just going to put this engine in this weekend and the 4k coming out of it will become my project :jamie:

hey sorry to bug you all again, Just need to know a little more about my engine swap in my ke30 which has a ke55 engine in it but I'm going to a ke70 4k i got told yesterday that i need to swap my manifolds around and thermostat housing and what not do i have order in gaskets for a ke55 or ke70 4k??? hmmmm cheers paulie

hey me again i was told yesterday by a lad at auto pro that with my king springs i just brought i need to get custom made struts?? Does any one know away around this with out having to change the strut from another car?? they are 2" springs would stock new shocks work?? :D

ok being my first k engine ill be rebuilding in the next couple of weeks "thanks to tax time lol" I'v basicly just got my block on my engine stand fitting new pistons rings and gasket and seal kit though it,, I'v been thinking over going a cam as well? as i em putting my head that iv got in the car now "rebuild about a month ago, milled and ported a little. I'm trying to keep the car kinda stock for the years to come but would love to make the engine a little bit more "better" lol iv read the info about doing up k engines on this site. I'd thought id just ask around first get word about it? :yes:

Hey doe's any one know if X80 series cresta front spring and maybe suspention set up would fit in my ke30??? I'v got this cresta sitting in the back yard and I thought I'd ask before flogging it off :yes:
