  1. ill get some interior pictures soon! getting rego next tuesday for this. Tyres being fitted to rims today, might paint the rim centres black. Its almost impossible to find a t18 front bar, might have to bite the bullet and spend the $330 on ones from Thailand or wherever.
  2. kays parts on facebook does chrome bumpers with end caps for $330 delivered to australia.
  3. Check how the bushes and balljoints are before you put them in!
  4. compared to ae86 stuff s13 gear is cheap i got front and rear coilovers for my 180 and it cost me a total of $450. Still were decent condition too. Front's were even damper adjustable.
  5. they are the same, but you'd be better off getting a t50 if you're doing a lot of highway driving.
  6. After buying a nissan and turning to hate it. Decided to buy some 4age love and this popped up with a decent pricetag. originally wasnt going to do a build thread but I'm extremely bored at work. Speedo doesnt currently work but should be able to get that sorted reasonably quick. 1982 Toyota Corolla Driveline: AE111 4age Blacktop 20V T50 Borgy Alloy Radiator Thermo Fan Extractors Surge Tank Suspension: was standard front: corona struts converted to coilovers ma61 brakes 7kg tein springs unknown (probably blown) shocks t3 ae86 (to suit mx73/ra60) steering knuckle xt130 AJPS RCA's rear: ajps height adjustable spring seats 5kg springs Interior: Driver and Passanger Monza bucket seats (mod plated) ugly as seats though, will replace drivers with bride eventually and passanger with ra60 seat haha. Nardi Steering Wheel Dildo knob Water temp gauge Exterior: Party lights behind grill Soon; t18 bars (looking for front one currently) front standard flares welded onto rear Wheels: Front: 14x8 -15 Weds Tri Spoke Rear: 14x8 -10 Performance Hurricanes 185/60's front and rear probably. photos i have from before i bought it, will get some proper ones later
  7. i thought there may have been something available, but you never hear of anyone actually using them. I have friends in nissans and they never have/even think of using anything like that (even though the cars are 50mm from ground). Where as all my friends with 80's toyotas wouldnt lower anything without some rca's. Might have to question them on it. reasons people go s13 front end. 1. CHEAP 2. big brakes 3. huge range of afordable coilovers and spring rates/damper adjustable 4. CHEAP
  8. so many threads on this but anyway depends what parts you're using in each set up, ae86 struts with cutties and f@$ked shocks will be crap anyday of the week but bc coilovers with ae86 power steering arms, corona (or similar) lca's, some 40-50mm rca's is going to be a good set up. Only real let down are the brakes but there is brake upgrades available. s13 set up's really need to be fine tuned, wait for ke70dave to post about them as he's done about half a million variations of the set up. r31 control arms are meant to be the way to go since they don't give you massive amounts of track. But what are you looking to use the car for? and what price range do you have. Which makes me question, is there an RCA option for an s13 set up? or does using base height adjustable coilovers negate the need for them? always wondered what the people that drift s13/s14/s15 are doing in that department.
  9. ive heard that you can't get widened steelies balanced properly?
  10. according to wikipedia townaces came with 7ke go efi and supercharge
  11. 7K comes in EFI anyway.
  12. yep wagon diff will work with sedan tailshaft and in my opinion a borgwarner is a stronger diff than an s series
  13. sedan light mounts are different to panelvan light mounts too. you'll have to drill a couple holes to make them fit other than that its a direct swap over. t18 guards don't fit unless you cut them where they go at the door. get the centre from an adm ae86 (which is S Series the same as the panelvans) unless your diff has been swapped to a wagon diff in its lifetime. quite easy to see, borg warners have a removable backing plate and S series diffs don't. but you can get a wagon diff and put it in, but you will need to swap tailshafts. Ke70 sedan tailshaft will fit. Wagon one WILL NOT as they are a touch longer than sedans. Sedans with S series centres are f@$k off hard to find i wouldnt even bother.
  14. beige or ivory
  15. this id probably do the 4age conversion from your doner car since it has cams and other upgrades not to mention EFI over carby, newer engine etc. If you have it there why not?
  16. xt130 arms give you a lot less lock though.
  17. i bought a registered ke70 wagon for $350 once. The 4k didnt like heat and died eventually haha.
  18. how much camber do you want? "the most" isnt normally ideal..
  19. you should be right with camber tops so you can adjust the camber back to suit. i believe its the control arms that give you a wack caster setting. Not 100% sure but a friend who was talking to me last night about his ra60/ra65 shit.
  20. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/forum/20-engine-conversions/
  21. seats from my ke70 sedan bolted straight in to my ke70 panelvan. don't know if ae71 panelvan would be the same? i ended up putting ra60 seats into my panelvan. i took the rail with the adjustable bit off my van seat and drilled some holes out to make it fit ra60 seat, then drilled ra60 rail that was left on the seat to fit front hole and rear mount is about an inch too short so a cut and weld a bit of steel in there and it fits. ra60 seats sit you a lot lower than the standard ke70 ones
  22. for wheel size, 14x8 with around 0 offset sit nicely, well they did on my panelvan. but really depends if you want to do some guard work, don't see the need for anything large than an 8.5. Diff: ae71 wagons are borg warner diff. panelvans are s series. hilux leaf mounts are different to wagon leaf mounts according to e7van (you know, the guy with brown panelvan) so either way you're going to have to get mounts welded onto whatever diff you choose. As well as custom tailshaft. as for shocks wagon/panelvan shocks are shorter than sedan so you can get away with running suzuki sierra shocks, which are small and stiff good for skidz etc. its always a good idea to re-do bushes in any older car you buy. With lowering your leafs, smart thing would be to get it reset and an extra leaf added for stiffness. or if you want to do it on the dodgey flip leafs and put landcruiser leaf in for stiff.
  23. i had sierras and loved them, personal preference though. Didnt really care about droop was just a skid car anyway. If you do decide on them the gabriel guardian series shocks are meant to be a bit stiffer than kyb and cheaper, like $65 a shock
  24. You can pick up r32 alloy radiators for around $300, will keep your shit heaps cool, or install a thermo fan on a switch.
