Way to go Trent, that is a great step in the right direction!! I would recommend signing up on the Queensland Motorsport Competitors Register at http://www.qldmotorsport.com.au/. It's a free service where you register and they email you the supplementary regulations about events you are interested in. The supplementary regulations tell you what to do and when - eg, how to enter, where to turn up, what requirements your car must fulfil. It is unfortunate that you will have to wait a little while before your first event though!! but good on you.

I know!! I love that Kaplan car, it was definitely one of the most horn bits of gear in the field. Although there were lots of horn bits of gear out there (read $$$). Can't beat the sound of BDAs (yes, there were more than one, yes there were more than 3!). Indulge me (again), name dropping time. I met: - Jack Brabham (he's soooo deaf but he's allowed to be at 80-something) - Eric Bana (GORGEOUS!!) - Steven Richards (LOVELY!!) and, ofcourse, my all time favourite - Gentleman Jim Richards *sigh* It was way WAY cool. Classic Adelaide Highly regarded tarmac rally around the hills of Adelaide - only open to "classic" cars. Similar to Targa but WAY more expensive than Targa per km to do. I'm excited I'm excited I'm excited!!!
