A ute? ummm suuuure Hakail!! :) Rob's crew thought it was HILARIOUS especially as they insisted that Hakail get the camera out to get proof of how lucky he was .... rumour was 50 ft drop was either side of the tree that shall now be known as "Savior of Wagon of Death". Suddenly the camera was stuffed in a secret compartment of the W-O-D and a denail that there ever was a camera! I love the WOD, such a distinctive rollaclub icon, please say that it's in the rollaclub calendar?! (Y) As for me, I stepped into the old (yet familiar) role of Redwarf Co-Pilot for the weekend. Wayne (2005 Co-Pilot) had his finger broken courtesy of an apprentice at work. I would suggest that the apprentice's days are numbered. :P We had a SHOCKING first stage, Evo2 was not behaving himself and had a terrible new habit of being very attracted to grid posts. Rob barely managed to convince Evo that kissing the posts would be baaad, and this caused us to tank slap down a road severely once. We dropped the back rear off the road, and I think this is what caused our flat. Evo2 was called some colourful names for 6 minutes while we (ok so Rob) changed the tyre. 2nd stage all this changed and Rob+Evo suddenly clicked and we managed to beat the Scott's!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I fell down to worship the rally gods for this bloody awesome time (18kms in 11.11 mins, YIKES). From there on, Rob+Evo+Mel fell back easily into their previous roles. I had a great time with this guest appearance - even though I was on the WRONG SIDE OF THE CAR! Major kudos to the insane Scotts Motorsportz crew: my partner Paul (current Qld Champion) said of them at the speccy point last night.... "I have never seen someone attack a corner with more commitment - EVER". Hearty congratulations to Tony, Peta, Chris and the rest of the team. Your results are utterly awesome, utterly spectacular and utterly deserved. However, I feel that this thread is desperately needing the following: 1. Stories about drunken behaviour last night 2. Stuff about the Christmas themed rally car? 3. PICS!!!!! (WOD guru?)

It is always interesting navigating for different people. I hope you like dirt rallying, I think it's awesome!! Also of interest, go to http://www.save-ferris.org/gallery/KCF32005 for phat pics. Good shots! (but we still miss Haikal)

What was it like navigating for Ralph? ps. I also have to mini-brag about my honourable mention as most .... umm..... spectacular(???) into the Ponderosa speccy point. Don't they know a Scandanavian flick when they see one dammit!!!

Have you seen those exhaust tips in the shape of a love heart????

I'll be there, should be a bloody awesome event. With this rain the roads should be good too. My understanding is that Redwarf Evo 2 will be there too.

ha ha ha ha ha!!! so true!!! Ponytails are easy elegance! I think Kristy brought ponytails back in - oh hail!!

As one of the resident females on this here forum, I feel it is my duty to clear a few things up..... MYTH BUSTER 1 By colloquial definition, a pony tail is the single tie back of the hair, ie resembles the pony's tail as per the pic. For some unknown logic that has not stuck me as weird until I read this thread, there is no such thing as "2 ponytails". If you have 2 elastics, such as that ... errr lady/man(?)... they are called pigtails one = ponytail; two = pigtails I know it doesn't make sense, but hair/clothes are not generally logical! MYTH BUSTER 2 I snorted very loudly when a few of you said that you preferred the "messy" ponytail because it was more sexy and that a chick would have spent less time in the bathroom. Now ofcourse this varies from chick to chick - whether she has naturally curly hair or not etc - but I can tell you that the "messy" look takes AGES to create. I have dead straight hair (which was fabulous when the whole iron-your-hair-flat look was in) and it would take me at least 2 hours to create something that looked "messy". I think that the average woman would spend about half an hour to look messy! It reminds me of one of my favourite quotes - byDolly Parton of all people: "It took a lot of money to look this cheap". Sometimes it takes a lot of effort to look "natural"! although I have to say that I am VERY impressed that you boys have noted the latest hair fashions! The whole "messy" thing is very recently in - although pony tails have been a preferred way of wearing your hair back for about a year.

Even though I'm on the phone to you right now, talking and typing at the same time  Happy birthday to you!!!

Nope, they're all run by CAMS Fook Or - I should say - I've never heard of one that has been run outside of CAMS. I thought that the Kilcoy Canter was going to be non-CAMS but I think that may have turned into the Kilcoy Road Rally (CAMS affiliated). 90% of rallysprints in Qld are run by BSCC, therefore are CAMS

CONGRATULATIONS

Red and white tie white is bad, looks a bit gangsterish green would be ok with a white shirt but does look like a boiled lolly in some ways yes, red and white is good

I think that is the usual for Qld championships/series rounds too from memory.....

Please find attached the supplementary regulations for the 2005 Queensland Motorkhana Championship on 18th September 2005. I started reading the supp regs and my thought sequence went: - hmm, it's the weekend after Cooloola rally - could be a rush........ - errr, what car would that be in, WRX would suck! nah, who cares, it'd be fun - :D woohoo, Gympie roadcraft, that place rocks! - Oh. 7 am scrutineering at Gympie. Hmm. Okay I could still do that. - Wholey &*^#@! $50 entry fee! - Forget it - why do BSCC events cost twice as much as everything else? - hang on, is $50 expensive for a motorkhana these days? Fook?
