where abouts is the starter relay? because there isnt one in the fuse box behind the battery like all aus spec ke70's. otherwise i would've tried the one out of my wreck.

so i went and had a look at a mates K series repair manual. it says that there is a fuseable link somewhere between the ignition, and the starter. checked the fuse box under the dash, and the one behind the battery, but neither of them have a fuse for a starter. does anyone know if theres a third fuse box in a 70 panno?

yea twas a random starter. Tried another fully charged battery. still nothing. the starter wont even click or start it anymore.

I havent checked that yet, but all the radio, lights etc work for quite a while after turning the car off.

tried putting more demineralised water in it, took it for a drive, and the same thing happened. soo I'm charging another battery up at the moment to see if that fixes it.

hey guys, So I'm having trouble at the moment starting my 4k.After sitting overnight, it will turn over first click. after running the car, and then turning it off after say 10 minutes, the starter motor will tick, after two or three times of turning the ignition, then it wont even tick at all. first i thought it was the starter motor, so i replaced that, checked all the wires running to it, and they were fine. but it is still having these problems. any help would be appreciated. Hey guys, Up for sale is my 200b. I bought it 3 months ago as a run about, and i havent had any troubles with it. Ive rolled the front gaurds, aswell as flaring and rolling the rear gaurds. also have replaced the diff last week. The Good: New pedders springs and shocks up front Fully serviced, tuned and flushed 2 weeks ago Clean interior. The Bad: Rust Dents missing rear left window (will replace before sale) steering box has a little bit of play needs a respray Auto $1600 negotiable with 15x7.5 -5 mk1's and 15x6.5 Impul mesh, both with good tread OR $700 with stockies, with good tread. will the VRS hold up ok though? because i had a VRS headgasket on my current 4k and it had a shaved head, and it only lasted a couple of months..

Hey guys, looking to rebuild a 5K. it'll probly have like twin down drafts, cam, shaved head etc etc.. but i wouldnt have a clue where to find all the gaskets and bearings? I'm looking for a sorta high performance gasket kit if anyone makes them? could someone help point me in the right direction please?

I'm keen for this. i should have my car ready by then.

no probs man, i need the cash to get the sedan running and 4aged anyways... ill come round and grab the diff soon, just gotta find time.. panelvan is good, lowering it 2 inches soon and getting some 14x8's for it hopefully. the bridgestone in lobethal also sells 13x8 spitfires straight out the mould for $200 a wheel, so it might be worth having a chat to them if ya want another pair. i would, but ive chosen 14's for the panelvan now. i will also be stocked up on 14x7's pretty soon, so if ur keen to buy some, give us a yell! the sedan was the first ke that i had, so glad to have it back!

No problems on the wreck man, was my pleasure. I got a sedan shell on tuesday, so thats gonna be my project car instead of the wagon. spewin to hear about ya thumb man, if ya need any help with doin the conversion, ill come over and do it for ya if ya want man. also, sell me your jellybeans, ill give u good money for them.

may also be the dwell angle and points. i had the same problem with my car, but then i bought new points and set the dwell angle and its fine now..
