  1. Congratulations Mick, 8| I'm speechless, perfect in every way!
  2. Haha mate I would love for it to go back to its second owner, but unfortunately your about $3,500 short lol
  3. Hi Phil, Mate, what a spin out, you most likely sold it to Spencer who is the bloke I purchased it from. He was telling me about his plans with the motor but didn't go ahead due to purchasing a property, which is almost the exact same reason why I'm needing to let it go. I'm in the process of typing up my sale ad for it as I type this. Did you want to buy it back? Haha I've had alot of guys telling me to put a rotor in it lol. It is still in very good condition overall and yeah it still hates to rev until its warm. I purchased it with the original steering wheel so I'm not sure what happened to the Momo. I absolutely love it, loved the ke30's since I was a kid, but it has to go.
  4. Top work Mick, absolutely love it. Can't wait to see it finally finished in the new year.
  5. Cheers for that mate. Yeah I think they'll look good too but also unsure about the white centres. I usually don't care what alot of other people think, at the end of the day the car is mine, however any form of constructive criticism is normally helpful.
  6. Not much has changed in the last month, a few bits and pieces have been sprayed, mainly in the engine bay (Pic below) just as part of tidying up, a few stickers added, but otherwise just been cruising it and getting compliments everywhere it goes. I now have numberplates in mind, just haven't got around to ordering them. As far as wheels are concerned, I'm thinking SSR Meshies in 14 or 15" with white centres. I would definitely like to hear thoughts/feedback on this. Cheers
  7. I've only ever seen the "Corolla" with the SE or CS badging under it.
  8. My name's Anthony and I drive a mustard 78' ke30, from the Liverpool area.
  9. Really? I had no idea, I've got a 78' with a 3K. Sorry, my bad.
  10. Ke30's are equipped with 3K motors from factory.
  11. Cheers Ryan. Thanks everyone again for the kind words, the response has been great.
  12. Cheers for that Ben. Yeah all 4 are Bridgestone's, they are a good tyre, previous owner put them on just before I purchased the car. Thanks Mitch. There's a bloke on JDMST that said the same thing to me lastnight, I'm thinking about it... Thanks Asiri, appreciate it.
  13. Thanks for the kind words mate.
  14. Sorry the photos have taken so long, I didn't get a chance to wash the beast till yesterday. Enjoy!
  15. Its in there already mate, under "Ke-Thirty" Cheers
  16. Thanks mate, pics shouldn't be too far away, just waiting to wash it first. I'm not sure on what "new wheels" to go yet Chris. Would you have any suggestions? I'm not in a real rush as the stockies have just had new tread put on them. I wouldn't go any larger than 16's and no tacky looking chrome crap.
  17. Cheers Patty. I deadset can't get enough of em'.
  18. Hi Guys, My name is Anthony, I'm 24 and I've been a part of RollaClub for awhile now, but only just decided to start a new thread. I am now the proud new owner of a Mustard 78' Ke30. I've had my fair share of modified cars so far, this car is Number 11 8| My previous cars include: 82' Ke70, 93' Charade, 93' Evo 3, 94' VR Calais, 05' BF Xr6, 93' Skyline R32, 82' S2 Rx7, 90' Bmw E30, 93' Jap-Spec SSS, another 92' Skyline R32 and now the Ke30. I'm from the Liverpool area in Sydney, and am hoping to come along to the next get-together so I can meet a few of you, now that I have a car worth bringing. I picked up this beauty for decent money yesterday. I've loved the Ke30 shape since I was a little kid and still can't get the smile off my face. My Corolla is fairly standard, apart from a few mods. They are as follows: - Lowered 2 inches all round - Rx8 bucket seats - Pioneer deck (Hidden in glove box) Amp and 6x9's - White venetians - Alarm/Immobiliser and keyless entry Everything else on the car is stock, including 3k, 4spd, the rest of the interior, the wheels and all the body. The car is overall in good condition, with only 3 spots of rust and an uncracked dash!!! The motor runs sweet and all the electrics work including the cigarette lighter and radio. Some future plans are a tidy up, floor mats, numberplates and new wheels. Tell me what you guys think... Pics will be up soon. Cheers Anthony
  19. Thanks so much for all the replies guys, it means alot. I did check all possible places for rust, only places I could spot were the bottom of both the front and rear passenger side doors and around the rear window, so I'm pretty happy with that. Surprisingly the seatbelts aren't frayed and it doesn't even have one dash crack!!! I just picked my little gem lastnight, a 4 door 78' ke30. Its the typical mustard colour, has been lowered 2 inches all round. I will be starting a new "Rides" thread, so keep an eye out. Thanks again, Anthony
  20. Hey Ryan, cheers for your input mate. I'll be definitely making sure everything is legal, don't want any headaches. I'll also be hoping that most parts, including transmission have been left standard. I agree with you, the project aspect is always fun, but this will strictly be my daily, then down the track if I have enough funds it will turn into a project. Thanks again, Anthony
  21. Hi guys, I'm looking at buying a Ke30 finally, I've wanted one since I was about 6. I'm going to look at it on the weekend and if all goes well, I'm hoping to make it mine. The car is in fairly stock form, including the 3k. Now I have a few questions. Firstly, what are the main things to look for/common areas to keep an eye on when purchasing a Ke30? I've already been informed of rust, which I know is common, especially along the bottom of the doors. Anything extra would be much appreciated. Secondly, how is the 3k motor for things like reliability, fuel consumption etc. I ask because the car will be my daily. My first car was a Ke70 with a stock 4k, but that was 8 years ago, so I don't remember alot about it as far as issues/common problems are concerned. Like I said any help/suggestions or tips would be much appreciated. Cheers Anthony
  22. Looking good so far mate, top stuff...
  23. Hey Mick, How's things? I still can't believe you sold the fj powered 30... This little gem seems to be coming along nicely though. Cheers Anthony
  24. Thanks heaps boys. I might have to do just abit more research then! :locked: If there is anyone else out there that knows of any good performance workshops for this type of conversion in sydney, then please feel free to share their details!! :n:
