  2. Hi guys, I was thinking that what's the most important thing for your first born to have, that's right a scale correct version of their dads Racecar. So I got out my saw and a paint brush and after a while came up with a scale correct version of my ipra race care ke55 corolla!
  3. Hey Raynman, What ever happened to the ex Ari Vibert TE37 corolla, i use to work for Andrew and was heavily involved in the building and development of the old girl, it was offered to me for sale before you guys bought it, and ive kicked myself ever since for not snapping it up. Any idea who has it now, whats condition its in etc? Regards Trav

  6. Nick-name= TRAV-KE55 Real name= Travis Robson Daily= Nissan 720 dualcab ute De-regoed= Very clean little KE55 coupe Race car = KE55 coupe, now dismanteled and I'm in the process of a 3SGE+Turbo conversion. The race car has been round for a few years, with a modded 3T-C, webbers, TA22 gear box, mazda diff, Series 4 RX7 front brakes, adjustable pedal box yadda yadda yadda. I started a thread a while ago here i think outlining the coversion, but i havnt laid a spanner on the little thing for about 6 months:sob:, but mark my words rollaclubbers, work is about to start on it again, and ill try to keep you guys updated if you want. Ill try to post some pics of if it now, hopfully it all works!! Are there any other members from the Shepparton area (regional Vic)? It would be good to meet other like minded enthusiasts in person. Trav
  7. Ive had plenty to do with the CA20 engines, as a road engine they arnt to bad, made not bad power for what they where, if your going to do it use a efi one from a pintara as the bluebird carbi jobs just didnt really pack the punch, I have a pintara wagon for sale, it has a turbo CA18 ET in it (single cam) and five speed and it goes quiet well!!! If anyone is interested its going for about $2k, pull the turbo engine out, swing it in your rolla, put a standard ca20 back in the pinny and you have your fun car and your tow car!!!hehehehe. Man what a salesman!!!! Trav
  8. My KE55 race car is called BOB, becuaseit doesnt matter if he is going backwards along the track or forwards, his name will always be BOB. KE36 wagon (now retired :P ) is called clarry for clarry the corolla. My KE55 roady doesnt have a name yet, she has do do something special before she gets a name, but I'm sure its a she becuase all my mates have driven it more than me!!!! Trav
  9. Yep in its day Brians car was just as quick but Andrews has had about 4 years more development than Brians has now, from the speeds we where doing when Brian was rallying a corolla Andrews car is traveling faster these days just through development, I'm sure Brian would have kept development on his car going to if he still had it though, Both Brian and Andrew use to compare stage times at the end of a section and then go out and try harder, they had there own little competition going so to speak!!! Trav Yep so did i, genuine TE37 Bonnet and Grill are very rare these days, apparently the grill and bonnet are destroyed now since Andrew sold the car :harhar:
  10. Hi guys i was just putting this link up on another web site and i thought you huys might appreciate it. http://www.vicrally.com.au/photosearch.php Put a search in Driver for "Andrew Vibert" to see this awesome little car. 2TG, about 190hp, close ratio box, 5.1 full floater diff, LSD, 4 disc brakes etc etc, i worked in this car for years and it has an endless list of mods on it. You guys will appreciate it i thinks. Trav If anyone has more rally rolla pics post em up in here
  11. Looks like you guys had a great day, I'm sorry i missed it but business is busy at moment and i was still working on sunday arvo!!!! Rollagurl, hmmmm m noice!!! HE he he, and yes all men are stalkers!!!! Except for me!! Let me know when there is another event and ill try to make that one in a corolla!!! Trav
  12. Thye plane still takes off becuase the planes forward thrust (motion) is done by the turbines or propelloers, the wheels have no drive so they just free wheel on the conveyor. Howevr the wheels probally explode due to excessive RPM therefor wounding the plane and skiding to a burning pile of shit at the end of the conveyor/runway and because the conveyor is travelling at the same speed in the oppisite direction it will then shoot the remaining fuesalage backwards down the runway beacause the conveyor cannot slow down fast enough, in turn the rapid change in direction will cause massive internall injurys to the passengers organs killing all on board. So i ask you this people, was this experiment worth killing hundreds of inocent civilian passengers for a ridle?? Its all bout the passengers people. PS: The concords wheels did fly apart wounding the plane, but it did still take off and fly 2 kms, so yes the plane will still take off. You questions have been answered. Trav
  13. Kangarossa, the 2 hours drive doesnt bother me it just depend if i already have commitments that weekend! We race at Winton & Deca, and the car club I'm president of has a autocross track in Mooroopna. At the moment I'm starting to jig up for diffirent engine conversions for old corolla's. But if anyone wants to shoot the shit feel free to drop a line anytime. Trav
