yeh i gess I'm still here, even tho rollaclub is drifting more and more further away from being a 'corolla' site, so i don't come on much, but i still got a ke10 so i'll still make an appearence, still waiting for a rolla cruise to happen here which will actually have people turn up ...

went thru sorell today in my ke10, and saw another marone ke10 looked done up

is that all?? :/ I'm glad i didnt come then i would of thought there would of been at least a half decent turnout with toymods involved, anyway i will get around to coming to one of these meets later on, there should be no reason why we can't get a turnout like I'm a member of tasrotary.com as i have an rx7 as well and that has about 15-20 active members and has only been running for about half a year and the first tasrotor cruise ever managed to get 15 cars turning up, and corolla's are far more common than rotors... :) www.tasrolla.com anyone? lol

i didnt make it, circumstances made it so i had 2 hours to get from where i live to inveresk, and that just wasnt possible, especially on P plates, these events should be more centralised in the way of meet up places.. but anyway i'll try make it to the next one cheers guys PS any pics?

i want to go... just wonderin how many southerners will will be going up? and how easy is this inveresk meetup place to find? sry but I'm a launy noob

depends how much $$$ you wanna throw at it uprighting the motor will give you about 0.2 more hp, really the only reason people upright K engines is so as you can ahve a longer inlet manifold = more torque, if you decide to go with it the good luck with :jamie:

uprighting a K does improve performance, but the performance increase is sweet FA, i wouldnt go to the trouble of doing it, but it does allow more room for carbies so you can have a couple of nice webers hanging off the side with shiny trumpets :) my dad would know how to do it, as he has done it b4 in the long past, but I'm not very famililar with uprighting motors :jamie: the only thing u've got to consider is if you want the gearstick coming out on an angle inside the car, ive thought about uprighting my 5k but it would make the interior look a lil dodgy IMO and thats what turned me off it

saw a really clean granny-spec ke10 B or ke11 going through rokeby yesterday, and i also saw myself driving in the ke10 today :jamie:

I was out there on sunday since I'm in surfers at the moment, i got some good snaps but can't download them since my computers back at tassie... The red ke15 from puerto rico was mad, ran solid all day, i went and said g'day to him at the end of the day while they were lined out on the strip for the presentations and the driver and all his puerto rico peeps were all very genuine and overall very friendly and even insisted of having a photo with him in frot of of the ke15. I also noticed the ommentators during the dy kept saying it was a ke20, which kinda annoyed me in a way :P

I was just thinking and thought why the Gran Turismo makers don't put ke10/20/30 etc cars on the game, i don't know about you all but I think it would be cool if they did. They bother to put some cars on the game that some people didn't even though existed but don't bother having well known and popular cars like pre 1980 corolla's on the game, it doesn't make sense. I want to upgrade ke10's to 400hp and beat dodge vipers god damn it!!! :D

I've represented Tasmania in Indoor Soccer, havent played for about half a year, averaged about 7 goals a game, my record for most goals in one game is 23 goals :lock: ;) try and beat that!!

some nice cars there the last one looks like a holden and just guessing but the one with the audio gear looks like a pajero (only cos of the brake lights)

i rekon they should just have speed limits in suburbs and towns and on open roads you should be allowed to do whatever you want.. if not then at least put the maximum speed limit up to 140kmh

its just another way for the government to get money out of people i say hooning isnt that big of a deal just don't do it in residential areas, or in the middle of town, or if you have passengers, so if you do f@$k up somehow and end crashing you'll only have yourself to blame and you'll learn a very expensive lesson in the process if anyone doesnt agree with me then fine, right of opinion, but there's more important issues out there in the world than booking people for having a little bit of fun every now and then, the police should concentrate more on the people who ACTUALLY TRY to kill/rape people etc etc

Valvoline Oil Filter :( they tend to suffer bad from oil drainback

My ke10 happily enough got up to 170kmh before i had to brake to get around a corner, ive never tested its top speed though :(
