i have sad news, i just snapped my axle in the rolla, i wasnt even doing anything stupidi was just on my way home turning the last corner an it snapped in me. i knew this day would come so luckily i prepare i have a new diff sitting at the workshop ready to go in. best month i have ever had in the car but unfortunately I'm not going to weld the new one. does anybody know of someone selling a t18 diff. and is anybody selling a 4age thanks keep on rollin but in my case clunkin

yh the wheel cylinder are ok just goes far down but still stops, i think it just need bleeding again

as i was driving during my lunch break 2day i stopped at a shop and after i jump in the car aand started going i realised i had no breaks, which i thought i popped a wheel cylinder so i got back to work looking for any leaks and there was nothing. after work i went to my mates workshop and started lookin g for problems which i didnt find until my mate arrived and found that the master cylinder had shat itself, luckily i had a spare lying around so we put that on and bled the system and it was fine for about an hours driving and than it went down to the floor but would still stop me, could this just need bleeding again to make shore i got all the air out or does any1 else have any other ideas y this would happen. thanks for any help

its bout 5 inches along the side, its not fixable so ill have to get a new one

yh ill take comments of people sayin they don't like something ive done but i wont take any people who start me or my car out cos i see it in other post and its just stupid because if you don't like someones car then all you have to do is go look at another one instead of being an idiot an making people feel like crap and stuff like that so i don't mind people sayin i dnt like that style id perfer this..... but not baggin something out but I'm not gonna write anymore about this because its about the car and what I'm doin to it an not able me moanin about people so if you don't like it just go look at something else no1 is forcing any1 to look at this post. thanks

well I'm waiting for it to be painted an the boot lid and the left passenger door are just silver because i brought a donor car and they were in better condition then the ones on it. and i know it looks like I'm making it look bad but in the long run its just going to be a need and tidy daily driver with a bit more power than standard but thats y its called one day because one day it will b finish. lol went on a cruise with baggus an a guy with a ae71 which is all smashed up, and with the luck i have the guy with the ae71 desided to do a skid in the gravel while i was behind him and put a nice crack in my windscreen which put me in a bad mood cos its just another thing on the list to fix but other than that its was hell cool. eventually i want to put it on airbags which i think would b cool an if anyone has an issue about baggin it please don't waste ur time tellin me about it because i only put posts on here to tell people what i am doing to the car and if people can help me with it but if you are going to start moaning about what i do with it then please feel free to go to another post and read theirs. thank you keep rollin

just thought id add, on the way home 2nite i got to the last round about near my house i got it full on sideways an I'm not braggin but it was awsum, and just as i went down the street my parents were there watching all of it lol an they were yellin at me to slow down but i no deep inside they just wish they drove a corolla like mine, hahahahaha lol love it keep rollin

yh its low but id like to go lower, on the rear with the spacers on u can put ya fingers under the gaurds, eventually i want to put it on airbags. i reckon it would b sik as lol

probly bcos the fronts wouldnt fit unless i had spacers and i was still waiting for them. i got them for free off a mate and i sprayed them black an i think they don't look that bad but itll look alot better when its painted. I'm gonna try an get some good photos of the rolla this week sometime to see how it all looks as a pose shot.

soz didnt reply to anyone for a while havnt been on here in a while. the silvia rims: i had spacers on the front with that pic. now i have 25mm spacers front and rear now an i had to roll the gaurds for the rear. erm with the question of what rims i had on it could either be the standard stockies painted black or the silvia stockies painted black. havent done that much to the car lately, I'm waiting for it to get painted, i put a sub in it which my gf loves lol but sad bcos i took it back off her lol. welded mine an baggus's diffs up this weekend. spent hours saturday nite out having abit off fun haha loving it apart from its still my daily so i dnt really like driving it on main roads that much lol especially through petrol stations, haha. can any body tell me if there is any diff centre which is lsd which will go in or is it best just to chuck a lsd t18 in to it. thanks keep on rollin. o yh i got my new sticker i drew up printed and i love it

i brought the car off an old lady, its done 289000km, its an auto and its way too high. lol its pretty straight an doesnt have that much rust (only in the boot but I'm getting it all cut out. i started off by buying a donor car which came wiv a 5 speed gb and a spare motor for me too play wiv. i converted the auto to a manual with the help of baggus which took is 6 hours. its still got the auto diff gears in at the moment but i don't no if ill change them or not, still thinking we took it on a cruise that nite too c if there was any problems but it was all good. afta a while of drivin around we desided to lower it. it is on cutties but don't go moanin at me cos its only for alittle while till i get coilovers gettin it painted some time this month to make it look nice an clean. ive just got some silvia stocky rims which i painted gloss black to go on it aswell but waiting for the spacers to arrive. ive put a alpine stereo in it and a sub just too keep me awake while drivin. at the moment I'm still desiding what motor to put in it, i want to put a sr20 in i dnt no if to go turbo or not but until i do deside what I'm going to put in it I'm gonna build up a nice 4k just to put along in an really find out how the car handles. i love doing my key bangers and some idiot in a v8 was tryin to get me to race 1 day so i did 1 next to his window but it blew my muffler apart so i got a cannon put on. i also blew the head gasket on xmas day which didnt really put me in a jolly mood an it took me 2 weeks waitin for the shops to open an for parts but its beta now. please comment on the car and help me outif you can. thanks heaps tj

this is partly my fault for not saying that i was going to buy it and clean it up and sell it, but on the other hand if ur going to start giving me shit then go post somewhere else. I'm a apprentice mechainic and i like my old cars and all i want to do is clean it up and get experience along the way, there is nothing wrong with me doing what i love best and thats working on cars so if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it (didnt you mother tell you that) all i wanted to learn from this tread was if i was going to buy it and put some money into it would i get it back with abit of profit when i sold it. check that all of you vacuum lines are connected cos mine was stallin if i put my foot on the clutch or come to a stop and i found a vaccum line was off an i put it back on an its running fine now. sounds simple but just giv it a go an u mite find that 1s off.

ive checked the fuse box but it doesnt have anythin in there for the a/c is there anotha fuse box i only c the one on the driverside dash soz new to the ke70s dnt no my way around them proply yet thanks

heya i wanted to do the flat front conversion to my rolla an i was just wondering if u could tell me everythin you changed an ill probs do the dodgy aswell cos my ke only cost $500 thanks mate :)

i got a ke70 1983 an it doesnt have aircon but i would have thought that the fan on the aircon controls would still work but it isnt. its the switch that makes it faster do i need aircon for this to work? thanks
