yes it can be done the alternator,pwr steer pump and starter motor are in diff places the 4afe has 2 bolts less in fly wheel then 4age the wiring is different and exhaust ports are diff so need new headers to change from fe to ge

the alternator on my 4afe 93 rolla went today so i took the one off the other rolla with the 4age in and put that in the problem iam having is the 4afe alternator only has the big positive wire but the plug only has 2 wires where as the 4age has 3 wires in the plug which wires do i join to where ?? thanks in advance benno

sorry fellows it is a track only car plan on putting a turbo on it if i don't crash it first lol my first track car so we ll see what happens so if anybody can help out that would be great

the 4afe is efi and i have seen many ae93 with 4age bigport in them just wondering if someone has wiring diagrams for both these cars i have a workshop manual but it must be for overseas models as all the wires in the diagrams are totally diff colours

ok just put a 4age with tvis into my ae93 it came out of an ae82 got full wiring loom how eva the dash etc is diff in the ae93 which u will all know so i have run the engine loom for the 4age into the car and my loom is total diff i still have the original 4afe loom inside the car so what i need to do is adapt that one to the 4age engine loom and i have come to a hault as I'm not sure which wire goes where can some one help with how to adapt the 4age engine loom into the loom inside the ae93 does anyone know where to get a full layout of each harness? ive looked on here but only has the engine diagrams thanks in advance ben

can't seem to find this anywhere on the web maybe someone on here knows does the 3sfe fit into an ae 92/3 corolla if so any mods? cheers benno

gday looking at putting a 4age into my ae93 its currently a 4afe a few questions 1 the motor iam looking at has a cracked crank i know the one in my 4afe is good will it fit in?(yes i will be grinding and fitting new bearings) 2 the motor has no dizzy or ecu hard to get? what sort of price for these items? 3 will my current fuel pump work with this motor ? 4 will the 4afe throttle cable fit? thats about it its a 20v silver top any info appreciated cheers benno
