yea me and my brother cleaned the jets but still nothing..would it have anything to do with the timing at all? either way i still need to redo the points in the distributor, would you have any idea on what they should be? and the firing order? thanks

hey guys, just bought a 1982 KE70, had been sitting for 2 yrs straight. have fixed everything and replaced everthing, runs nice. however, it only idles, and its rough, as soon as i accelerate it dies?? wondering if its anything to do with timing or the points? but can't find the measurements for the point gaps, can anybody help out here? not sure what distributor it is either.. also, which is the fuel/air mix? and how do i tune the car properly so idle and fuel/air mix all run sweet? I'm new at all this car tuning stuff. thanks in advance Rhys

hey mate, ive got exactly the same problem on my 1982 KE70, what are the valve clearances? i can't find them anywhere?? cheers
