  1. Maybe all of the electrics were too much for ignition switch itself and now has too much resistance in it. Put a multimeter across the terminals of that 4 way plug I installed and test the resistance of each contact, ie ignition, run and start.
  2. Are you able to get your hands on another starter motor, if you can push start it but can't start it with the starter motor maybe it's something to do with that. And yeah evan it's just a memory feed, for some reason.
  3. I think it should be how white they are and not how bright they are.....for the same money you can get an IR setup and see for 100's of meters....
  4. Spigot Bearing!
  5. So what we have here is a post in a post in a post in a post?
  6. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/35904-stud-pattern/
  7. Would of put a sarcastic emoticon in but couldn't find one. And yes (metal capability) it isn't long before you automatically work out how to do simple tasks like this and others, like turning a tap on and off.
  8. Is that what they mean when they say 'right hand thread'. I think if you don't know which way to tighten and loosen a screw you shouldn't really be doing anything with your hands. And it's really something programmed from birth.
  9. How much did that set you back? And is it the whole kit (front/rear screens, all door/window rubbers, boot and bonnet)
  10. Most places only sells 30m rolls, what I've had to do in the past when we've gotten really low on certain colours is used a felt tip pen to add the tracer. The reason I say this is that electrical places only sells 30m rolls and when you've got all your colours it will end up costing you. So just grab some white wire and some Permanent (Has to be permanent, for obvious reasons) markers, can even get away with buying a yellow roll as well. I read this back and realised that I said the places thing twice but have major cbf factor fixing the grammar, but I do have the energy to write this out. (long day...)
  11. This is a stupid tangent but can you buy that sand mould stuff that manufacturers use to make parts from, cause if you could design the head and get the right parts cnc'd you could go down that road.....crazy stupid and expensive i know.....just a thought
  12. Yeah, I'd like to see how much they are if I do all the drawings. Would love to hear what it sounds like on my Cam'd 5k.
  13. Should be easy done on a lathe, draw one up and check out cnc places and what not
  14. Very nice work man.
  15. This is actually one of my favourites, I find that I can only listen to dubstep for so long as I can get mad bass head aches (especially with the new twin 8's in the suby).
  16. +1, I work in manufacturing building buses and coaches, the other day I was talking to someone very early in the line and they were having a joke about them maybe making a mistake and doing some damage. I told them tell me now so people don't have to spend time looking for the problem later on, one of their replies was "I'm casual". I don't think people realise that when they work for a company the company itself would rather spend the smallest amount of time fixing something over not being able to deliver the vehicle, and would rather hire people that report problems. That's not really a WGMG's cause I'm casual as well and only a co-worker. No WGMG - So many idea's for the rolla but wanting it finished as soon as possible, don't wanna lose interest before it's even had major repair work done.
  17. Maybe, and I do say maybe, check the crimp connector on the end of the lead. I had that problem and as soon as you put pressure on it they work just fine, even with brand new leads. And as well check that when you clip them onto the spark plug that the little metal end bit is secured and not loose. I'd check the earth's as well. You definately have a weird problem though, let us know what it is if you do find it.
  18. What avenue's have given you the experience that makes it alright for you to illegally drift on public roads?
  19. Cause of the quoteable "I had a corona bush basher" and "have nearly written off my ba xr6", your 19 yeah? And on your p's? At the end of the day it doesn't matter how much experience you have, it takes that little thing to make a huge mistake even when driving legally but is so much easier when your driving illegally.
  20. Why hasn't this thread been locked....ADMINS you abuse us when we talk about drifting on roads and this clown comes in with no experience wanting to buy a corolla only to thrash the shit out of and slide all over the place. I agree with twinky, scar92 you are the clown. Get off the road if you want to drive like an absolute f@$k head. Your the type of c**t that f@$ks everything up for future generations of p platers and other drivers on the road. Grow up.
  21. I go sidchrome but I know it's not the best, I know that it's reliable and readily available when I need something new. My dad has his original sidchrome stuff aswell so that kind of tips me towards it. I've had my tool kit and box for 5 years and have no problems at all....but not the best screw drivers for that I go Stanley ratchet, I got one and I swear 70% of the factory I work in had them the next week.
  22. Or if anyone could get the size of each pulley, and the distance between each pulley's centre I could draw something up in cad and get a quote from a company here. I would do it but my motor is a little bit far away at the moment.
  23. If your thinking of getting some made in Adelaide, I'm in for a set.
  24. Turned out awesome man, you should start enclosure making business....I got mine going the other day and the bass is ridiculus aye, It may even beat the 12inch I had in my corolla. Yours looks so much better though, and looks about 1/3 of the weight :blinks: nice work.
  25. What's the purpose of the car, burnout, drifts? I don't know anything at all about it but wouldn't that motor be pretty heavy?
