cheers mate, once the engine bay is done the rest will be easy.... touch wood. once engine bay is done ill finish off the innerguards, primer, rust protector, sound deadner. slowly move towards the back, interior, rust protect, por 15, dynamat everything. so at this stage my end time to get it done by All Jap Day Adelaide is coming along well. will post more updates/pictures over the next week. cheers

Gather around the fire kids, picture time. so these are just in progress order or close enough. racing jacket has been sent out today expecting it mid next week.

Updates: still trying to upload photos, will have to get a Bluetooth USB i think. anyways, battery tray hole been repaired, and that side almost ready for primer. then to start on the drivers side with : Grinding welds, and skim coat filler. then the engine bay is practically done. Clear racing jacket has been paid for and will be sent out tomorrow i believe so will get that monday id say next week. and order my flares friday night or tomorrow night undecided most likely monday so i have money for weekend haha. want to get my diff set up done so i can get it in and wheels measured up for later on.

be careful tho i know 5 or 6 people who have been defected for aftermarket steering wheel even tho its ADR approved and that was here in SA

hey guys I'm looking for a workshop in adelaide i can take my RN25 hilux diff into to have the leaf mounts swapped to spring and shock mounts any suggestions on workshops. and I'm chasing a LSD for it i believe a MA70 is the LSD to be looking for if I'm correct? cheers guys.

Update: nearly all welding has been finished in the engine bay. battery tray has been replaced now just need to finish welding in place and grind smooth. left to do: grind driver side strut tower, and then i can finish smoothing and it will be ready for a couple coats of filler primer and final primer. will be ordering bolt on flares probably this weekend or next week. also buying a clear racing jacket for the headlights a genuine one aswell. have photos but damn phone wont connect to computer >| :bash:

Ordering a clear Racing jacket for it next week most likely. just collecting all the jdm bolt ons lol. will be ordering a front lip, adjustable rear panhard rod, strut brace, and clear corner lamps from Sleeka Spares in the upcoming weeks too. then order a set of bolt on flares, most likely from america. if i can't find some on toymods. will try get some pictures of the engine bay and racing jacket I'm after.

started smoothing the left strut tower now its been welded, and spot welds been filled so minimal filler is needed only a skim coat and i mean skim coat. will try get some pictures up soon.

apparently ya can claim one free windscreen it comes covered under ya rego. my mate got one for free that way. but the 20 is lookin overrated other wise, have ya installed everything besides the head?, coilovers strut brace etc?

cheers mate, I'm gettin back into it decided ill finish off the interior rust wise, and get soundproof in and wrap it in plastic get it away from the frickin mice the f@$kers their shit is more corossive than rust its self lol. ordering clear corner lights after easter, and a front lip nom nom, trying to hunt down some bolt on flares to suit if anyone knows of any give me a yell. next: coil spring mounts on hilux diff, powdercoated black. paint the toyota logo on the housing for shits and giggles. disc brake rear for hilux. LSD center hunt for a w58 gearbox hopefully it handles 200+ killer wasps. sway bars. new bushes anything suspension related.

what chrome bars are you running, ke55 or 30?

oh and get a gilmer set too and see if they can do buy one get one free haha
