  1. Sadly the wagon was sold when I was going through a tough time. I sold all of my gear in anticipation of leaving home and moving to follow career but unfortunately I was knocked back at the last step of employment. I sold it to the post guy for $150. I should be able to find out how it's going with a few calls.
  2. haha First time I've logged on in agggeeesssss and I see this; Long time no see guys! WMMH: Crowie's going to look at a corolla tomorrow and possibly buying it. Now my finances are in order I can afford a weekend car. Wish me luck :)
  3. awesome to hear you got a hold of the spare car for parts, don't have a clue what model the master cylinder is out of sorry mate, the xt130 struts and brakes should be enough to pass engineering just remember the steering arms and top hat need to be changed over to fit into the ke36. cheers crowie
  4. Cheers man, hopefully I get it in soon itching to see how it goes. thanks dude, yes TGI are one of my favorite bands, bloody singlet doesn't fit anymore haha grown a bit since then so I'll have to buy another one.
  5. Looking good man great to hear you have mounted up the ta22 clutch master cylinder. Though you may want to have a read of the brake master and booster upgrade I did to me ke38. physically the largest booster you can fit without cutting off the rain drip tray and a larger master cylinder to suit. Have a read if your interested: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/50885-crowies-ke38-wagon/page__st__90 Cheer, Crowie
  6. got mine for $125 each
  7. Sounds good mate. Chuck up some photo's or even a build thread if you want to; very interested :y: Cheers, Crowie.
  8. pm member "haveaparty" on ae86dc, he replied to my wtb thread just after I got one from another member. SQ engineering does sell a braided clutch line to suit an adm box with a banjo fitting on one end, $85 IIRC. cheers, Crowie
  9. Idle is tough dude but needs more full throttle brap video with straight pipes :P
  10. Looking good dude, I'm in love! I may be moving down to VIC in the new year so I'll defiantly have to drive over to SA and see this thing in person. Awesome cars in this years RCOTY but I know where my vote is going
  11. Just use the existing pedal box and use the clutch mater cylinder from an ae71. you'll have to fabricate it to fit and cut a hole in the firewall
  12. Yea it's all dependent on where the engine is located, it'd be great if I only had to change the front yoke thanks for that info. I'll really have to get under the car and have a look at a couple things once the engine is all bolted into position before i make a decision. Unsure on the fuel system location, something just tells me to put it in the back. A fire extinguisher will be riding shotgun once the system goes in too. :P
  13. Winner! it's off a Te3x
  14. yea that's the plan use all the existing inlets/outlets, may even try to fit the surge and pumps inside the boot cards for extra stealth. I don't think under car system would be safe in my car. It seems simple enough to hook up, only thing holding me back atm is money (bloody Christmas)but I'm confident I can figure everything out excluding tailshaft and possibly wiring... leave that to the professionals
  15. exactly the same but with filters, I was completely confused before i found that picture but now everything makes sense. With the wagons fuel tank under the car i couldn't just run a efi pump like all the ke70's do. It'll be a little bit of mucking around but in the long run it'll be worth it. Reliable power is the main focus of the build. cheers for the link Ryan :y:
  16. square light love
  17. About to start the exact same conversion in my ke38 wagon, you'll need to convert the pedal box to a hydraulic one, tailshaft will need to be changed to a custom one with t50 input. Then wiring In relation to the fuel system it'll be wise to run a lift pump and surge tank to bring the fuel from under the car to an external fuel pump to give your new engine a constant supply of fuel. take a look at this pic: PM me if you have any queries or ideas :y: Cheers, Crowie
  18. looking great dude the wheels defiantly suit the car better in silver :y:
  19. haha cheers man, it's nice to have a good looking car that some people appreciate. Absolutely can't wait to get this 4age in though, a little bit of go to back up the aggressive styling of the car. UPDATES: Sourced a clutch from the awesome and very good looking Reed for the 4age, bargain price and the delivery time was nothing short of a miracle. I wish all parts transactions went like that. Thanks again buddy. I was also snooping around on the net to find some info on fuel system when I stumbled on this photo. Cleared up a lot of confusion and uncertainty for me. Thought I'd share cheers Crowie
  20. Free day, always a great time. I've been to the last 4 and they just get better. Sadly I wont be able to make this though as I'll be training hard. :(
  21. seeing a corolla move like that gives me motivation for more power! I've upgraded everything apart from the diff so it's about time I added some power Updates on the 4age: Bought a brand new 1.3kw starter, 100% uncut loom with ECU, map sensor and coil assembly. Hopefully get my flywheel machined this week, and order all the parts for a fuel system. As I've read it's probably a good idea to use a surge tank and lift pump as my tank is way under the car in the wagon unlike in a sedan. trying to match up a vl fuel pump with a similar flow rate lift pump and a small surge tank, I've read it may be a little excessive although if I run return lines from the surge and fuel rail I should be ok? Also trying to get a hold of some mates relatives over in NZ to get some ke30 4age mounts off trademe.nz for the price it's to hard to pass up and something I wont have to worry about come engineering. Researched a nice fact on toymods that a t50 rubber mount can bolt to the k series gearbox cross member and that it lines up with two of the stock mounting holes in the chassis. SWEET! I will start mounting the engine in my brothers ke55 over Christmas while it's off the road as the bays are identical. Only need a few pieces to complete the puzzle now! check my wanted to buy add and help a brother out! Cheers, Crowie.
  22. I'm out :( spent every last cent of my money on 4age conversion parts, all new or from an importer so expensive but reliable :)
  23. Yay! xt130/ra60/mx62 coilovers and brakes ftw. Upgrading the booster and master too?
  24. Cheers Rian and oh-KE. Had an awesome day today, Carlos and his girl brought NISROLA down to the Gold Coast for a cruise. Cruised down the spit and through Surfers Paradise and people could not stop staring at Carlos's ride! Once again thank you Carlos for giving me a call I had a ball. Spent the rest of the afternoon hooking up the modified center console, Haven't got the tacho or water temp working yet as I need a sensor and some extra wire; although I managed to get them all lighting up Green to match the stock cluster. Very happy with the results  Cheers, Crowie.
  25. :( Carlos just told me when we were cruising. All these extra cops to crack down on people that work hard for something they enjoy rather than low life scum stealing ect. I Feel your pain Reed and I hope you stay in touch with the club even without a rolla. Cheers Crowie.
