ok so i now no what i am doing to the rolla thanks to JIP who happens to have a 5k for a good price and a set of solex carbys :P might take about 2weeks to a month to get it once i put the deposit down but itll be worth it all this will bolt up to my new exhaust thats going on on friday ill post pics of that to :P once i get the motor I'm going to strip it down abit clean it up paint the rocker cover just little bits and pieces like new leads plugs ect ect ill keep you guys posted then once i got the cash itll be going in then get a ruff tune and take it somewere to get a proper tune done after that ill run it for abit then work it with a cam of some sort and flat top pistons ect ect ill cross that bridge once i get to it so yeh stay tuned guys I'm keen to get building :P cheers mitch

if the blind falls through ill buy it right away sweet ill keep it in mind there is a worked one for sale for 500 with cams and flat top pistons all thats stuff so if that goes befor i have the moneys ill take on of yours =]

how much for the rear blind if the other dude doesnt take it i shot gun it thats hot how much for a stock 5k? my new exhaust and everything should bolt straight up and my air filter and stuff ? cheers mitch

the mesh after market ones that go on the out side yeh i realy want the blind for the back so stuff that normaly fits a ke30 should fit my ke55 yeh? might be keen on a 5k soon tims (08ftw) is pushing for me to get one hahah hey tim ill get one you put it in deal yeh great hahaha =]

hey guys ive just picked up a ice thermo fan for my ke55 4k now the wireing is no issue I'm wondering about fitting it to the radiator it says to push a whole through the fins and out the other side and bolt it on ive never done this befor and wanting to no if thats the right way cuz I'm worried bout stuffing a radiator it doesnt seem right to me anyways any help would be great cheers mitch

hahaha once i pay my phone bill and rego ill be saving for a worked 5k with a webber or something on it and the venisian blind and sun visor ive found were to get them =] a ke30 sunvisor should fit a ke55? they are pretty much the same aye? they only make a blind for the ke55 not the visor

thanks dude yeh thatd be good other than i work saturdays witch doesnt help haha i plan on getting out on some cruises when i can picked up my thermo today and a breather ordered for the rocker cover and some red paint for the rocker cover =] any sujestions how to fit the thermo?

Yeh that'd be good man I'll be looking for a webber for it soon once I get the idea of how carbies work I'll do that I'm getting the exhaust done next Friday extractors and 2 inch system with dump tip for 640 I'm in Albany creek dude Cheers mitch

hey guys got my first rolla =] i picked up a 1981 4 door rolla with only 130 000 on the clock and it is super neat! 5speed and aircon! the rear seat isnt to pretty its really ripped but the dash has no cracks and everything is clean roof lining door cards the whole lot no rust repairs and only some minor surface rust ive got some big plans for it but keeping it as neat as possible don't really want to go hanging heaps of stuff off it specialy when its so overrated so, so far i have put on my seat covers on cleaned up the engine bay abit put on a sports air filter white walls and crome rim trims i got a gauge for it today because the temp gauge doesnt work i got that wired up havent hooked it into the radiotor yet not to sure how to do it so if anyone knows how to do it please point me in the right direction that would be awsome and i just had a heavy duty clutch put in aswell nice head unit and 6x9s other than the the wireing cought on fire thismorning that was intresting hahah all fixed now though so i got a fire extinguisher to =] plans i have for it in the near future are: thermo fan exhaust rear vanisian front visor (not to sure were to get these from if anyone can help ocne again thatd be awsome) I'm sure there will be more as time goes along ill keep it updated the final plans if all goes to plan will be once I'm off my green ps: 4agze! shortend hilux diff? (i think thats what i should use? its leaf rear) levin box bigger brakes fuel pump ect so thats the start of things ill post some pics of it tomorow in the light cheers mitch
