Well they checked the engine number as the 5k engine number is now on the pit inspection sheet, in all honesty i doubt he even new it was a larger cc engine as they look the same
-
Hay man, just put my ke36 over the pits with a 5k in it, not the original 3k, they didn't even mention it only things they picked on were torn hood lining, key pulls out with ign on and fuel smell in cabin

Links all seem to be broken, anyone know if a 5k 5speed will be a problem going over the pits? Car had a factory 3k-h k40, ive never gone over pits here with a old car, and traps they like getting you on?
-
Yup can all be done on the night, you will need to see Raymond in the race office, heaps of info on www.driftwa.com.au
-
To get on circuit you'll need to pay WASCC membership and CAMS day licence, then get through driver training up the back or circuit
-
I will be there, I'm a flag marshal up there
-
i may look into selling it in next few weeks after mates moved over, Ok i will sell this if anyone interested, just need to re-coupe what ive spent, so $500 for the car and $250 for the rego.. so $750 drive her away Has some rust that has been bogged, runs and drives, had new points/plugs fitted and service

Whangarei, the big city ;) I'm from Dargaville, also in perth now haha
-
What part of Nz were you from?
-
Which car do you crew for? Wife has convinced me to keep both haha... project the ke36 and daily the t18... so i guess mods can bin this topic, will start hunting few parts
-
I'm a flag marshall up there for circuit and drift events but starting to get itchy feet to get out on track rather then standing next to it
-
I'll be at Barbagallo all sunday for race meeting, think i may be chasing some good doors off you just need to store my ke36 at work i think, and hit the te72 with some sand paper and clean up the rust haha I'm just in 2 minds about the te72 and ke36... I'm more leaning towards a ke70 sedan for possible track work Nah came from kalamunda, its a pale goldy colour
-
Yeah i will keep you posted, sort of impulse buy things then think about them the next day ;) may end up selling both the cars to fund one tidy one.. rather then 2 projects
-
Cheers, still trying to decide if i should wreck... clean up and daily or put running gear in ke36..or sell the lot and start over with a clean ke70 sedan... hmmm..
