YES its long over due Nothing has happened. you can all garn get ʞ©$ɟed :P but in all seriousness we built the rear half of the cage, and had 2 stabs at the front hoops, but decided to do it exact, as in, can see the pillar to either side of it, we needed to have a proper seating position. I think that was mentioned earlier that we had been in discussion with a shop about approaching transport regarding the use of a non ADR seat on the road. well 6 months on, i finally rang the seat company, Velo, and they said, oh we told them that they wernt going to get the paperwork out of us, cause the testing people have changed hands and its too hard no one knows where it is etc. I rang the shop, KCF rallysport, Keith is a great guy, i highly recommend people go there, even after all this, and he said he hadnt been told that information in such terms. either way, i rang my engineer, and he's happy to sign off on the seats using the FIA approvals, without the paperwork, and draw an equivalency to ADR standards. so 6 months on, i should have just done it myself it turns out...but owell I bought 1 seat and 1 harness, as I'm broke, rebuilding my patrol and setting up a canopy on it so seat was ordered http://www.velo.com.au/itemdetailspage/31936 and harness was ordered, 6 point hans compatible, in green, and seat will have green stitching not yellow for the logo http://www.velo.com.au/seatgallery/ i quite like the look, and will suit the final colour, which i think we have narrowed down somewhat. extra seat and harness will be ordered pre rego when my bank balance is a bit healthier. cheers andy :)

i can give you the lines, its your choice if you use them. you would have to see if he would sign off on it with second hand lines being used. its a GRA converter so will handle the typical 25-30PSI, as with the mixer Theres good info out there from GRA, ive got an old PPS about it all, they then decided to not actually specifically state its for turbo use as the mixer uses a o-ring seal on the throttle butterfly pivot, so was a possibility of leaking mixed LPG into the bay, very very unlikely though... everything to line up in which way? if you mean panels, its a genuine LHD 2 door from the states, so it was hard getting it here and registered, but the panels already lined up. If you mean the engine etc, I'm good at tetris ;)

its more or less everything you need. whats included in his kit? should be able to get the rebate even using parts i did with mine and i already owned my tank, bought my own kit, and all i needed was reciepts for the fitting to prove it had been fitted to the vehicle. never hurts to look into it :) http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c292/arowland2/spare%20parts/GRA%20and%20te72%20struts/ also got the old flexy lines, but you would be better off using new, and i doubt he is selling lines of the right length etc, but i might be wrong. cheers, andy

why do you make more power with the engine runnign cooler? heat = power....

i installed a thrust washer the wrong way around, which resulted in it wearing out rather quickly and dropping into the sump. we also had issues with valve bounce when on the rev limiter, but the gas setup was great :)

nah mate, modern unleaded heads don't really need anything done to them. didnt do anything with mine and it wasnt the head i had an issue with haha

nah ive got an air filter, snorkel runs to a custom box with a V8 commodore or skyline K&n filter, can't remember what mick said, or he wasnt sure, i don't know. not ideal for a diesel, but it works.... why is this? -

I'm still driving it to work everyday, so i don't think it will be a holey piston. when cold blow by is there, but only when hot does the blow by turn to that white colour noticed tonight when i get off the highway after 30 minutes and pull up straight away it does have a slight miss, but its not like its anything extraordinary, and its always sounded a wee bit like that, and i had it comp tested before. -

just an update, oil is clean, not using coolant, now leaking oil everywhere, assuming from the pressure... took drain off turbo and into a bucket and blocked entry to sump and started it, and blow by is still the same, so I'm assuming turbo is not the cause, any one with any ideas? cheers, andy -

turbo seal is fooked, took the drain off the sump and into a bucket and the blow by stopped :) -
Hey guys, I know its not a toyota, but i thought i would throw this up over here, as some of the most useful info i have received over the over the years has been from here. Over the past week or so ive noticed some smoke coming from under my ute when i pull up, finally got the time to pop the bonnet and have a look today, to find it pouring out of the vent on the other side of my oil catch can. To eliminate variables i pulled the hose off from the PCV and its doing the exact same thing. Its a continual stream, no pulsations, of white smoke, which doesnt really get damp when you hold your hand in front of it, ive got a little video here of what it is doing, exhaust smoke is black when you blip the throttle and clear when you hold it, no colouring at all, just like normal. power feels good, running 15 PSI max boost, still making and holding this fine, EGT's may have been a little higher than usual, but nothing signifigant. I'm going to drop the oil later and see if theres anything in the oil, but i thought i would ask you guys as ive never experienced anything like this, where do i go from here? cheers, andy

Gas Research Australia is the way to go. i was running a setup on my 1g ke70, and it had so much power and was a weapon to drive, was about the only thing that never gave me real issues on the car. ive got the convertor and throttle body here still if you were interested in it. http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c292/arowland2/spare%20parts/GRA%20and%20te72%20struts/ cheers, andy

what towe said, relays are your friends, and one for an electric fuel pump should actually have one thats triggered by a tachometric relay, like LPG lock offs etc. that way when you crash and split a fuel line, the engine stops and so does the pump, instead of hosing fuel everywhere, ive even got one in my diesel, and diesel doesnt burn like petrol ;) also, mechanical pump should have no issues keeping up... cheers, andy

o-rings can be had at your bearing supplier or auto store etc, or just high-temp red them in, if you actually need the tubes i can supply second handers i think i still have a set kicking around, i hope... cheers, andy

sounds like torque convertor providing no drive, but i know about as much about autos as you. i had one doing that, the more oil you put in the better it went. did you check oil level running or with engine off, should be checked with engine running, car in drive(?) someone chime in here...
