  1. just for the record, you don't cut them. I'm sure you would press the uni knuckle apart and swap the ends.
  2. or you could buy an adaptor... or put both plugs on your car...
  3. rian, thats too easy :P JIP, the big ones are common for new cars these days
  4. irokin, all other threads seemed to work ok today except the WGMG
  5. in the email notification, some of the threads, for example, what grinds my gears, is not coming up with the link that takes you to first unread, just has the standard link... but this thread worked fine, is it just an old subscribed thread thing?
  6. good luck :) are you gathering parts or have a running vehicle to put this on?
  7. http://www.facebook.com/pages/TRS-Shifters/328410291986 like the one in there profile pic
  8. ahk, did you get one of these slick stainless ones?
  9. whos TRS? is that the kiwi mob? torana stuff? i have one from a kiwi mob that does torana stuff, it seems good, very short and tight. make sure you get a knob, mine came with no knob, was part of a group by. was rather unimpressed, had to get a nice stainless one of ebay
  10. why do i have 600 daily new post updates?
  11. don't trust the build plate, do check the engine number on the block as pictured.
  12. yes, tell tell
  13. to actually seam weld a car renders it unroadworthy. but there are gains to be had, I'm a big fan of going all out and just welding a 6 point in...
  14. why the ʞ©$ɟ would you leave a diff standing up on end?
  15. willis, check my sig and envy my T series sedan ;) it came with an S series diff, ie 8 bolts, and thats a genuine US TE72 sedan with a 3t what sort of power is this KA going to make?
  16. just tape it to the outside ;)
  17. altezza, lost cause mate, illest avatar....
  18. softer springs will help, that car really doesnt squat much, there are calculators online to calculate your spring rate if you can't get it from your manufacturer. I'm trying to understand how you know you softened rear springs by 10% without knowing the spring rate?
  19. lol nankang... what is your rear spring rate now? and how tight is the limo?
  20. car is rego'd, back date tag... its all blue plate stuff anyway, so its the engineers decision, don't need approvals from transport, and I have his sig, its his problem not mine. i triple checked with him and he said its not an issue oh what a feeling, from memory when i was speaking to keith at KCF he was saying the same thing mid last year, december will be the cut off, so I'm not sure whats going on..
  21. bouncing sideways in the way you are describing is suspension that is too stiff, or shocks that are not strong enough to match the stiffness of your springs
  22. not if you speak to my engineer, and it was started and deposit paid before then, so if push comes to shove we will back date, but my engineer has heard nothing of it and is still happy as larry to sign off on it.
  23. side intrusions are a no no bolt/clamp in are fine, just can't run them on the street, its cause if your in a bingle and the fireies can't get you out with a side intrusion in the way same as no part of the cage can be across the door, all about egress, same as shaved door handles, but i don't think theyve banned that outright yet?
  24. haha yeah thats the one. trailer cost more than the car at that point lol
  25. PPS = Power point slideshow did you read through the end of the thread? or atleast look at the pics? :P I ended importing a genuine 2 door, whole car, no bullshit haha
