They have common problems in the indicator stalk. There is factory bend in the wiring that will end up shorting out, not sure if that's your problem but worth looking at.

runs good doug for early stages,bogging a bit like mine did,bigports makes it hard to tune that out.

i just tried to start my ke35 i wrecked,it wont crank,its making relay noises at the relay under the dash. ive removed the instrument cluster,and it started fine before i removed it. does it need to be mounted to start? i really didnt think it would have been necessary for it start. if it is can i bridge the plug to start it.doing my head in here

hey people i need to get a roadworthy tomoz,so need a to get a horn going. i was going to just take a stock wheel off my ke35 and fit it to my ae71. I'm thinking it will fit,but its pissing down outside and can't be bothered to go try in the rain. can anyone shed some light? i did found a thread saying all kes use the same boss. cheers nick

just been having some dramas with our rolla, maybe someone has some input for me...number 1 cylinder isnt firing all the time, weird but seems ok when cold.lead seems good, plug is nice colour not wet and fouled,which is what i was expecting. everything seems kinda ok.so just did a compression test on no 1 its telling me 150, pretty good to me ? so now I'm going to check my clearences, but could this be bent rod maybe or would i be able to hear that. will thicker oil bump the compression up a little, oil is old.

there is is special rubber wheel u mount to a drill that will buff that of in seconds cost bout 15bucks from automitive paint supplier

in my few years on datsun1200 i can say that this was out of character for dattofrog,he has proved he is decent bloke with his apology for his comments.

i think the chrome part is supposed to stay on the window,i found only the rubber comes off by small screw at the bottom of seal,.i think you could pry it off but will damage it more than likely. edit-sorry i thought u ment the chrome seal between windows

hopefully have a spare housing this arvo, cheers but taz rx.but i have seen a couple thermostat housing bolts break(not toyota but) and ive broken one before its just annoying when a 10 min job turns into a two hour one,especially when the car has nothing really major wrong in the first place.if it reads the same after i change thermostat il compare with an aftermarket from my other car,thanks

hey all, i have a 3k ke35 my temp guage is sitting bit over cold when warmed up,should it be at halfway?seems to be chewing a bit more fuel than it should?i have a new thermostat to put in but the housing bolts seem like they will break if craked so I'm trying not to change if i don't need to.what does yours operate at?ta-nick
