  1. Thanks mate. Yeh I'm in MK and should be taking up and F1 apprenticeship in a few years if I am lucky. :) I have since received a reply from irokin and we have discussed it. Seems that the costs will be too great for such a humble owners club. :( Oh well. Thanks for the help mate. I would stick around here more often if the time zones suited, and if I didn't have to participate in so many other forums.. lol Cheers, KP
  2. Hi all, I was hoping to become a rollaclub sponsor but the links in the Sponsor forum don't work and I haven't received a reply from the Admin I PM'd. Who can I talk to about this? Thank you, KP
  3. A clean looking car mate. I'm not a fan of the steering wheel, too garish for my liking but your ride. 20v will be nice to see, get it with some tb's and cams, you'll be laughing. Just please don't get a horrible exhaust! :bash: KP
  4. Anything is possible if you have the time, tools, money and people around you to help. Many people would not attempt it, but at least you can say that you did! You can either win or learn.
  5. Yes that is normal, mine looked like this after I did that; As said, just repack them and slide the boot back on, making sure that it is secure.
  6. I spent a night going through that page, and loved learning all I could about the 4A-GE. All the bits of info that are useful to know, pure porn in the form of writing! |blink|
  7. A few more bits done today: Any comments or question are welcome, I have done a lot to this car that I do not post here, but this is my build thread over at Toyota Owners Club UK: My Build Thread
  8. Hi all, Because I am moving house, the motor has to go back together simply for transportation. Here are some pictures; I am struggling to remove the snap rings that hold on the CV Tripod though, does anyone know what I can do to get it off to replace the gaiter? Thanks KPeanuts
  9. Hi, I don't post here often at all but I decided to update this thread with a few pics of what I have done since my last visit. 1. I got my competition Clutch fitted: 2. I painted loads of engine parts: Engine; Gearbox and Parts on it; (On the gearbox I polished the water junction/thermostat housing. I painted the gear-box mount, water pipes and drive shafts protective plate in red. I also replaced the standard clips with chrome jubilee clips.) Water Pump Pulley; Polished Water-Pump; Polished Oil Dipstick Guide; Painted Starter Motor Cover-Plate; Polished Water Pipes; Fitted Air-Filter; I have also painted various other pieces; Chromed Hoses; I have taken delivery of two second hand replacement doors for £100 and some new roof lining for £20. I will be getting a Head Set, TRD 0.8mm Head Gasket to raise the compression ratio, BMC Exhaust Fitting kit, Jap oil and fuel filters and NGK Iridium sparkies! I will put it back together myself the weekend before I go back to school. :P Christmas should also bring new smoked Headlamps and Sidelights, aswell as a Cusco Rear Strut-Brace. Here's my TOC Build Thread: http://toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.p...t=0&start=0 It's also in the registry where all of my mods are listed. Thanks for comments and reading. KP
  10. Damn thing posted before I'd finished!
  11. The old one had to be torn off and the bolts cut off. I have sprayed the exhaust manifold in high temp paint and will be heat wrapping it instead. Thanks for the help.
  12. I have used red VHT paint on the covers and even though its matte, it has metal flakes in it which makes it sparkle which is awsome!
  13. Nice! What paint was it though i.e. manufacturer? Also, MYSTIK, where do you get heat-shields for the exhaust? Mine is totally ruined!
  14. Wow! I want a finish like that!
  15. I got the cam covers off now and I'm spraying them red. I know that everyone does that but it looks great. I'll paint the 'Twin Cam' in black and the other bits in silver/white. I don't know where to get gloss engine paint though. All the high-temp stuff is matted really badly. No shine at all.
