  1. thanks for the replies guys! yeah the exhaust shops I've been to have been saying the muffler mounts aren't the same on the corolla as they are on the muffler. hence them not wanting to fit it. can the muffler still be fitted? do I just need to modify it? I'll take some pictures as soon as I can. thanks for the help so far! :)
  2. indeed I do! sorry I'm a bit British and we have retarded naming systems! :)
  3. Hey guys. I'm having a real nightmare atm with my e12 corolla. Basically I've been told my backbox is on its way out so I went down the scrappies and pulled a universal fit one off a Corsa for £25. :) :) :D However, I've been trying to get a garage to fit it for me and I'm not having very much luck at all. :( I've been told by a very friendly mechanic that the "mounts" are different and they need modifying. My question to you guys is can this be achieved easily? like is there some sort of adapter I can buy or something like that? I'm not a very technical person but have plenty of friends who would happily help me should any technical skill be required. :D Thank-you in advance for any advice given. ;) Steve.
  4. Thanks for the responses guys! I will try and contact a suspension specialist. I don't think we have any standalone shops over here they're all online based, but I'll see what they say. ;)
  5. Hello all  I recently decided that I might to lower my e12 a little bit to get the wheel arches nicely in line with the wheels and give my car a much better overall presence on the road. I am utterly confused.com by it all though to be honest with you! I understand that I need to buy lowering springs for my car and have already found a tonne of different ones online and quite like the look of some of the 35mm - 40mm ones (don't want to go craaaaaazy!) however my friend said that I may want to look and getting new shock absorbers too as the car will "inevitably bottom out and break the shocks". now I have no clue as to what I should be looking for here?! I've tried searching for shock/spring kits but unfortunately cannot find any! Am I going about the search all wrong? If I end up having to buy the shocks/springs separately which shocks can/do I get and where from? (I am UK based) My car is a 2002 1.4 'rolla sometimes listed as 2003 model on some websites. Pictures here: http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?p...mp;id=508912143 any and all help will be greatly appreciated :( Cheers, Steve
