hmmm.....ok.... mine has used oil from day one as well.....however thats to do with the head....i'm going to ask......why has it used so much oil for a newly built engine? so 50 blend is the thickest you've gone?.... i'm currently running pennzoil older engine in mine which i THINK is 60. hasnt been drinking as much lately....that will all be fixed soon. btw i've only ever had problems with my oil when the oil light came on and it was too low....shes all good though.

hmmmmm, my oil pressure gauge is an autoguage one.....made by autometer apparently. so i'm guessing its pretty good... at idle the oil pressure will be at around 20-30 psi......at full song it doesnt go past 60psi....on warmup its around 70psi under load. just a quick question to kanga.....what grade oil were you running in the 5K?

i'm pretty sure it was progressive. one primary opened then the secondary opened about 3/4 throttle

i no longer have this carby on my engine....it was just a little too big....considering it came off a XD falcon with a 4.1L straight 6. btw. it's a 34 ADM i now have a 32 adfa on there.

correct fook.... i'm actually slotting in the R31 LSD diff at the same time so i'll need a tailshaft that is a little shorter than normal.... however.....just thinking i may be easier to slot the t50 in first.....then do the diff, measure the tailshaft to see how long i need it and then put the stock diff back in until i get the tailshaft made up....so i'm not without a car.

i've read somewhere that in the first video the driver of the ferrari survived 90 seconds in that blaze....he then sued the organisers of the race for letting the race go ahead in the conditions...not sure of the extent of his injuries. the thing that pisses me off is that the guy with the fire exitingusher in the last part of the video is seen putting out the fire on the ground.....while 30 metres away there is someone burning alive.
