i've seen 2 this weekend, and both were NSW drivers......both had them on just on dusk....when its incredibly hard to see anyway let alone with a blinding light shining in your face. I get the shits with them, and i turn my high beams on if there is no one else in front of me....either A: they have no idea why i have my high beams on.....or B: they turn the fog light off straight away. you would think they would read the manual to find out what the switches do before you drive the car.....

You think driving a van is bad......think about the truckies that have an 8 foot blind spot behind them, then you have the fact of B-doubles. :) Btw, havent watched the show, don't wanna watch it......cause no doubt these are the people that i will abuse for driving their little excel POS with the rear fog light on in the daytime...that is, if they don't cause a multicar pileup first....friggen hopeless.

In my opinion, subaru really need to rethink what the WRX stood for back in the mid to late ninetys. It was a car that looked aggressive, handled nice and had a nice donk. This tripe they are building now, looks like a friggen family car than a sports car. Wheres the agressivness of the body lines that made the WRX what it was back in those days. I'd have a 22B anyday over this crap.

Button clutch and street do not go together.....granted you may go alright on the street...but traffic is always going to be a bitch. Basically, button clutch for track....heavy duty organic for street Edit, whoops.....forgot to look who posted the topic. I'm guessin you already knew that.... lol

Keep in mind my car aint a show car.....even though those pics in my profile look okay....the car has a few more scratches on it now (needs another paintjob)....its a daily driver and street engine. :D But atm, Sunday looks good for cruising.

if you have a look at a 5K head then my 3K head...... 5K 3K Bigport not much difference eh?

I really don't know how these guys can advertise them fitting from KE10 to KE70....as the floorpans are different, which is probably why they didnt fit on yours. There is specific Extractor designs for KE10's, KE55's and KE70's.....which is why a set of KE55 extractors won't fit on a KE70....unless you cut them at the collector

Also the same setup i am running....5K dished piston engine, with 3K bigport head...standard 5K headgasket (i do have a copper one when that one goes). Waiting on a few parts....then it should go even better :D The Copper headgaskets were on ebay a while ago.....they were laser cut...can't remember how much i paid.

I know mine are slighty different....they are also 15x6 not 14x6 like most soarer rims. I suppose its just something that irks me (when people say not to copy them on a forum)....i have seen quite a few of Ke's running around up here with supra rims on.....atm i havent got the soarer rims on as they need new tyres and i have a set of 14x6.5 jellybeans with almost brand new yokohama c drives i'm using. Btw, it's nice to see someone that can keep a level head and not blow up at the person that has quoted them.....

I really don't get people that say that.....there is probably at least a couple of hundred ke55's out there with MA61 supra wheels on them.....you really think you are the only one? if you really wanted to be different put a set of friggen redrilled mini wheels on it....i'm sure you'd be the first. The reason this site is here is to help people find info on corollas and get ideas.....i've had a few people comment on my build up of my 5K and want to do the same kind of thing....to me thats a complement. If you didnt want people to "copy" you.....why did you come here in the first place?....i'd be interested to know. Sorry for the offtopicness of this post..... Btw, you also forgot Corona 14" alloy wheels....same kinda of style as the corolla CSX rims.

C drives are the shiznit.....i have them on my car atm....bloody good tyres for the price. nice and grippy in the wet and also in the dry.....not too much sidewall flex either.

Has your 5K still got the hydro lifters in it? if so, i'm pretty sure you need a cam to suit....because the 4K is a Solid lifter cam i don't think it is compatible with the hydro lifters can anyone confirm this?
