  2. Sorry to dig up an old thread, but what came of this?
  3. Yeah defiantly not. Found a guy selling just front jdm Calipers for 220 shipped. Shit gets expensive real fast
  4. Nice car mate! I got the steering arms off of that guy! :P how are you going about putting coilovers into yours? I'm at this stage now also. But I'm 1 step ahead with the 2t/3G hybrid :) are you getting te27 camber tops? Ben
  5. 2014 is that adm calipers? Apparently his selling jdm brake setup
  6. This fella is trying to rush me into buying his setup. I think I'll take a step back and do research for myself and decide what setup I want to run. I'm contempt to run around in the lj81 for now. From what you guys have told me I'll want to get really good shocks probably bilstein. Jdm brakes setup(maybe rx7 upgrade?) Te27 camber tops 4.5 kg springs maybe? 2tgeu is pretty heavy maybe 5

  9. A guys parting out this and offered it to me T3 86 sleeve kit T3 86 camber tops T3 needle roller bearing Spring hat 6kg springs Trd blue short strokes with 5 way adjustable damper Toyota strut spacer I'm no expert so I'll put it past you guys, the car will be used as a road car for a while and eventually track once every now and then.
  10. Any other alternative I can get for camber tops? I could just run ke20 tops until I can get te27 adjustables right?
  11. Anyone know what spring rate would be ideal? A ke20 is a fair bit lighter than an 86 id imagine. Say 5kg?
  12. Yeah I was talking to ajps about them.. Thought I would consult with somebody else first to see if I should get some made up or buy a set. I'm planning on running camber, I've been looking on 86dc and put a wanted add up but no luck as of yet , I'll have a look at that thread tonight I'm on my iPhone right now, got my steering arms now :) I'll upload a photo later. Dream scenario would be to find someone parting out their 86 and pick it all up in one go. If anyone's after 20 running gear, the rotors, suspension and pads are all almost brand new on my 20. I think it's got 2 inch lowered kings on the front.
  13. Hey i've got my te27 steering arms on the way and ive been searching for some ae86 coil-overs for my ke20.. no luck so far and i don't want to fork out for brand newies. are there any other alternatives such as s13 coil overs? any additional modifications or will they go in the same? its just that they are easier to source. help would be much appreciated and i want to get these in next week.
  14. flares didn't arrive today hopefully tomorrow. yeah spraying em black if its too much ill just go body colour. trying to find some cheap ae86 coil overs so I can get my height right and camber then ill slap the flares on for perfect fittment ;]
  15. Dummy fitting the flares tomorrow, pics will be up :)
  16. Black tail light surrounds now. dunnoooo if i like them as much
  17. Flares going on this week. :)
  18. waiting to be paid.... mmm flares and delicious coilovers. anyone looked into putting coilovers in ke20's? got te27 steering arms on the way.
  19. There was a green one here in Australia for 21k recently, not sure but I think it was a rhd one.
  20. I had my ute up on 4 stands I was under emptying the fuel tank out... Full tank and the transfer in weight made the whole car flip forwards over the front stands with me under it.. I had the tray off and with no fuel the back weighed nothing.. They weigh like 800 standard.. Lj81. I didn't get hurt lol
  21. On the oil bottle they should have a diagram of an engine with the oil filled to the oil cap with an x and a dip stick with a tick. Lol at the chock with barina. You go to check the oil and it squirts ya in the face
  22. My mate filled his n14 pulsar to the very top of the engine almost over flowing.. Then wondered why there was a cloud of smoke and funny noises coming out of the engine... ROFL
  23. Depends where you live and what sort of traffic conditions is in your area.. I personally think it's a good idea for goin to mates houses and down to the shops. Over a period of time the savings would be worth it. As long as you follow the rules.. ( to some degree :P ) cops would leave you alone.. And just wear your helmet.. You'll be treated as a cyclist. By traffic.. A fast cyclist :)
  24. Haha huffsaw it be named. I thought that too, but if you have pedals attached so that it can be pedaled or ran off the engine it's legal.. I've seen old homeless bums with them on dirty mountain bikes.. But on a rat rod pushie it would be rockin
  25. I'm sick of forking out heaps for fuel rego roadworthy's etc... I've been looking into assisted push bikes and from what I've read, no registration needed, allowed up to 29cc with out registration as long as it's power assisted. And up to 80 k's an hour.. My idea is to get say a 40cc Honda or something with heaps of grunt for what it is.. How are they going to know if I remove the labels. And get one of those low rider pushies with the fat tyres.. Feels a bit safer. An just cruise around the suburbs. Power to weight would be alright seeing as it's just a push bike. Put a little basket on the back for shopping etc and wear a motorbike helmet. I reckon it could cruise at 70-80 maybe more with a good engine. Imagine the savings :)
