Small updates for this week; picking up jdm 86 front brakes on Sunday, paying slot of money for brakes so better be as good as people say compared to adm 86 brakes. Also going to buy eBay moulded carpet for ke20/25/26 anyone had experience with this stuff is it moulded well? Good quality? I'll probably be selling my 14x 8.5 -13 watanabes soon. Just too much hassel and I don't want to touch the guards on the 25 at this time. They haven't been touched :)!! Thinking 14x7.5 starsharks or mkII's. And I'm not sure about tie rods I just had te27 steering arms and the 86 struts fit right onto them. I'm taking them out now though and putting them in the front of the 25. I pick it up tomorrow my mates got a detailing truck so I'll see how 5 hours detailing it will being it up and what secrets I'll find. I think the outer light garnish is different on the deluxe looks like the te27 one

Pretty much decided to do an original colour closed door respray on the 25. As engine bay is alright. I'm going to switch the running gear out of the twenny into the 25 and have a te27 replica. The only rust I can find is a tiny bit in te bottom of guards and in the spare wheel well. It's a deluxe can anyone tell me how this differs from the base model? I will probably sell the ke20 with the 3k and toyoglide once the transplant has been made into the 25 :( Hope you like :)

Well the problem I've been having is I'm going to be putting alot of money into which ever car I decide, and I want it to be a good shell. The ke20 is a great rust free example but the 25 is better. And slightly rarer. It's got a 3k and toyoglide. I'm getting it on the road quickly And I'll just put my te27 steering arms in her and watanabes on the front.. I won't be touching these perfect guards but the what's should tuck under with camber and the stretch they have :) original wheels on the back ha. I'll roll that fpr a bit until I decide what I wanna do.

Bought a ke25 today. It's actually quite a nice original car with factory paint still it's red. Picking it up next week I'll post photos. :)

I did my 2tgeu engine conversion for under 2k. Complete engine $1400, did all workyself ended up costing $1900 with fuel pumps and what not. No heavy modifications. Worst thing will be engine cross member. I would really recommend getting a hot 5k save yourself alot of headaches.

Hey selling my 2000 Suzuki baleno. 160000k,s white, manual, new windscreen and tyres on mesh wheels. Engine and gearbox are tight. Has bog on front bumper just needs to be sanded and painted. Having cat converter replaced before sale. Gold coast $2000 neg

Now that I've got some steady cash-flow the big build begins...!!! I'm stripping it down to a shell, doing a bare metal respray( it has a few coats at the moment) doing the flares the proper way and smoothing out the guards. I haven't 100% decided but I think I'll be switching to battleship grey with black wheels and trim bits. Not to mention buying all new rubbers and getting interior redone in black

Hey thanks for that and thanks for the photo! i think ill definately be doing what you did,the rest of the car is fine just under that crossmember theres no room. i could have squeezed it though with a smaller gearbox but i have a t50 in my trans tunnel. how thick plate did you use? i was thinking around 8mm
