  1. do the 4age pistons fit on the 5k con rods ok?
  2. i am tossing up what would be best, 3tgte or 4age turbo for a ta22. both are about as easy as each other to put in. 4age would be cheaper but what would go better if and equall amount was spent on either motor? iv heard alot about 4age's but know very little about 3tgte's once done up. ????

  6. indeed, but i think i can live with that, I'm no race car driver, so i think the celica would do me good, espicially because no one has them around newzealand lol that one on ebay looks nice, expensive though. heres one on a newzealand site, it has abit of rust but its very very cheap for what it is http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=225452846

  8. cheers mate. i live in a small town in newzealand, and havnt actually been in person yet with a ta22, so I'm not sure on the size of it compared to the 35, i have a mate with a 35, which is really cool, but i really like the musclyness of the celica, I'm just slightly unsure of its size difference. i have a mate with an ae86 and another with a ke20, how would a celica with good suspension handle compared to those two with equally good suspension? and how would it weigh compared to the ae86 and ke20? cheers

KE35 corolla vs TA22 celica hello there good people. i am realitively unexperienced on the really technical side of things, but i am interested in purchasing either a ke35 sr coupe or a ta22 celica. i have decided i like the look of the celica, and the running gear is all good and easily intercahngable without certification, i was mainly wandering which of the two would handle better when done up. either one if purchased i would be putting in a 200+ hp 4age, t50 gearbox, hilux diff etc etc so the coversion would be easier in the celica because it has a t50, similar bellhousing and crossmember, engine mounts would be easy and i wouldnt need cert to change from 2tgr to 4age, I'm not sure what to do with suspension and ride height. i want to be able to corner hard and to reasonable drifts without rolling lol i havnt found a whole lot of info about the celica, so if anyone is clued up on them your assistance would be apreciated. i have some general questions: how heavy? much heavier than ke35? do they handle bettter than ke35's? what would you rather: 4age & lsd ke35 or 4age & lsd ta22 ???????????????????? imput would be awsome cheers
