  1. There was doco on Cyprus a few weeks ago and this issue was part of that doco. That place has been in and out of civil war since the 70's and has been overrun and occupied since the dawn of man. The UN created the demilitarized zone which separated two sides of the country. Some loved the Greek's and some loved the Turkey's so they killed each other over who should run the country for years. Until in 2008 the zone was removed. There is no telling how old the pictures are that are circulating. But i'd find it highly unlikely those cars are still there after all the publicity they've recently recieved.
  2. I think corona's were actually a 5x100.
  3. Looks the goods man. :y:
  4. ...sounds like i'm the WINNER!
  5. Busy day today, thanks to the wife for driving me across the country and putting up with my shit! I took a big spill on the weekend and now my leg is in a cast. Went to get an CT scan today but got shafted because it's Logan Hospital. So we went down to Autobahn Slacks Creek and got a new a new Super Charge battery, it's to big to fit in the little batery tray so i'll need to make some modifications. From there I went over to Right Price exaust and bought the kit I need to make the exaust system. 2m of 2" pipe, 4 mandrel right angles, 4 flanges, 2 gaskets and bolts to suit, a Super Cat 15in glass pack muffler and 4 exaust mounts. Then it was to SuperCheap Marsden for some new Bosch Super Plus spark plugs to run with the Street Fire Ignition and a 2 inch angle cut tail pipe. Then it was to Brown Stains for lunch. Urban Burger on Main St is awesome, then to Autobahn there and got 25ft of black Heatshield exaust wrap and some Heat resistant silicon paint. Then to SuperCheap Brown Plains for some hose clamps to fit the exaust wrap. What a day.... I got the headers wrapped and they look the part. I'm just going to be running a 2inch system straight through, over the diff into the muffler with the chrome angle tip. Should look SUPER RACE! Cheers. And here's a pic of the repair work done to the Solex.
  6. rip out the flurescent road paint!!! Hot pink centre with fluro orange lips! But really, don't do that....
  7. I had a ke55 brought down from caboolture to brisbane south side last year, cost me $300. The dizzy was 180 deg out, the fuel looked like mud and was just as flammable. It took ages to weed through all the problems before it would start. I believe it sat in a guys back yard for 10 years before I got it. Once it ran it seemed like a great car...
  8. I'd get a tractor or truck and skull drag it to the road. Then get the cheque book out and sign off about $900. It would take the act of Satan blowing Jesus to get that old girl kicking.

  10. spooge on boobs ( . Y . )
  11. That's because everyone wants to be 'Boy Racer'... but really, there is a great deal of people in the club who actually put the effort into the old 'K'. From what i've have seen and not including what I haven't- Philby, Red Dwarf, Felix, Altezza Club, Taz_RX, beerhead, rockinrolla, kickn5k, ... there are plenty of others. The past or present, mild or heavy. Lay it out guys! How did it run?
  12. negative. what size exaust are you running with the extractors?
  13. Found one on boost cruising for $140. Going to pick it up right now.
  14. It's $150 through MSD in the US. Then you've gotta factor in the exchange rate and postage cost. It's between $215 & $300 here in Aus. There are instructions available on the link i posted and it appears to be a very easy install to a standard points dizzy. The low end multi spark function would awesome for low end performance.
  15. egay...
  16. Street Fire Ignition Control I'm having trouble finding anyone who will regraph distrbutors in my area. So... the question is, does anyone know if running this ignition control would be a suitable substitute for a regraph of a 5k electrionic dizzy? I'm thinking of running an early breaker points dizzy with the adjustable stater plate (which I have), fitingt a Hot Spark ignition module to replace the points and using the Street Fire to control the ignition, as opposed to having my 5k electronic dizzy regraphed. Anyone?
  17. I'm a man who can appreciate Highway to Hell on full song. :rocknroll:
  18. Have you tried a standard k motor alternator? Did you do the alternator modification for big stereo reasons>?
  19. Keep on rollin...

It's worth saving. I had my ke20 brought back from this. I wasn't cheap, but like a man's best friend you can't put a price on a life.
