It's likely not the springs at all. The shocks are probably gassed up from hanging full extension for so long.

Depending on the age and condition of the head it should be fine. Should check with an engine shop to make sure the valve guides are ok and it will handle unleaded fuel.

The 4afc head is designed to produce maximum torque at low rpm, hence the narrow valve angle. We call this economy because your not revving out with your boot on the floor. Power figures may not match a 4ag but with the right mods torque could be ridiculous, making you faster than a 4ag anyhow. Power sells cars, torque wins races.

My 5k is bored to 1531cc, ported and shaved head, weber, extractors, exhaust, electronic distributor. It gets along without much effort and more than keeps up with traffic. Look for a late 80's liteace. That's where they come from . -

I sold a 4k head to a Zoidberg on here and accidentally posted it to Randall St. instead of Little Randall St. Silly me didnt put a return address on the package and it took 3 weeks to end up in the dead mail room. In that time old mate must of wigged out because he hasn't responded to my offers of reimbursement or repostage and hasnt been back on since September last year. This guy should consider himself lucky dragon.

I'd do it if I could afford it but unfortunately the manifolds are just one piece of the puzzle. Unfortunately, us Aussie's are all shit broke, squeezed for every dollar by the dastardly powers that be. I've noticed that its also ridiculously expensive to get anything custom made in this country. -
You'll just need a ke30/55 manual crossmember. It should bolt straight up. If your using a ke70 5 speed you may need to redrill the holes for the gearbox mount.

There's a guy, Jordan something who does mounting kits on here. You can find him in the sales forum. You'll have to locate you engine, gearbox, diff and tail shaft to match. Sort a fuel system, upgrade brakes and suspension and then the hard part... The engine loom. You'll probably have a bit of trouble locating all the doo dads for a fwd to rwd 4A conversion unless you can find one already set up. More people seem to be converting to sr20 and ca18 these day due to availability of parts and such. I stuck the K series engines because I dig em!

Spotted a yellow e7 on the Centenary Hwy between the Cunningham and Springfield. Things were getting slippery though the roundabouts for both of us.

Check all your earth straps. I had a stack of weirdness occur when the loom to chassis strap became loose. Very well could be a grounding issue.

You'll have to undo the opposite mount and jack the motor. It's a straight swap.

What model corolla? If its a ke20 you can fit a later passenger side engine mount to upright the engine a bit. A 30/55 mount gained me about 10-15mm between the tower and the tubes.

Some how the brass fuel delivery tube inside the secondary auxillary venturi keeps vibrating around to face the wrong way. I superglued it back the right way but that only lasted a week. So this time I tried to flare the end of it and press it back in. The punch became stuck so I heated it up and it broke when i tried to get it off. Not suprising. Had to fix it. Nicbro's skills should not be under estimated. Awesome.
