  1. Made a new vinyl parcel shelf this arvo. The carpeted one perished within 3 months. Free white, 10mm backed vinyl, because its creased. Stapler and some good quality vinyl paint. I've got a few metres so I'm going to do the door cards soon as well Also both my toyotas.
  2. Absolutely correct! The low pressure pumps don't suck very well. The instructions usually state that they should be mounted within 30cm of the fuel source.
  3. That not such a bad idea actually. That might give me the clearance to make these seats certifiable. Problem being, although the seat belt retracts while I'm in it. Once I get out they don't and dangle out the door frame. According to what I saw on ACA the other night, that's just down right DANGEROUS!
  4. Yeah bud. She's the one. Courtesy snapshot
  5. You can use the gasket paper to replace the gasket but I'd recommend using RTV sealant with it.
  6. I reckon the 1000kg weight specs are with a full car.
  7. Problems occur with the Aisan carbs when the throttle shafts wear out causing a continuous vacuum leak.
  8. It's not hard to remove the rocker cover and gaze upon the awesomeness of adjustable rocker gear.... Adjustment is easy if you have any form of mechanical knowledge. If not, just take it to a mechanic.
  9. 'Mods' to 'tricks'. '4k' to 'back door'. 'Power' to 'hard'.
  10. Take your car to the local dump and get them to weigh it on the bridge.
  11. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Corolla_(E20) Unfortunately it doesn't say, but this wiki says the e20 series curb weight was between 720kg and 910kg. Likely basic 2 door models being the lesser, with wagons and such being the greater.
  12. Tuning tuning tuning, need an O2 sensor, raw hide!
  13. I rectumfied the issue by moving the seats back 3 inches on the adapter plates I made. I'm 6'1" so I need the leg room. See the paint flaking in that photo? That's why you don't take your car to MSR Customs. They can't even take the time to sand back the door frames before painting.
  14. A few things happening at the moment. I bought a km/h cluster and some tail lights from a member here which is tops. Cluster is sweet and the tail lights will get a lick off paint. Also trying a set of saas buckets which are giving me grief due to the low seat belt hanging point on the B pillar. I'll hopefully sort something out soon. Running a new tune today with 140/155 mains, 140/150 airs, 50/55 idles, 10* static advance and 35 all in. Seems pretty smooth with a heap of punch when the secondaries come in.
  15. How can I go about this? There are no holes and I'm unsure if its possible to drill and tap higher up on the pillar.
  16. The contacts on the switch between high and low beam clap out. Later models, it's on the indicator stalk.
  17. Fitted these seats today but they obstruct the seat belts. The belt won't retract while its like this. Any ideas on how to get around it?
  18. It's an abomination and should be dematerialised into a toaster. ghostbusters reference
  19. Why can't all beers be this big? Because you won't get out of bed tomorrow...
  20. I do like ginger beer. I take it the 10 year über cruise went belly up?

To bad about the starter. Cold just need a new solenoid. I plan on coming on the next cruise for sure. If it gets off the ground.

Good work mate. I've been on the road for 9 months and I'm still nit picking. Not happy with the tune or the rear suspension. You'll get there!!!
  23. Somebody has most likely removed the thermostat.

Some electronic distributors use ballast resistors as well. To prolong the life of the ignition leads.
