Is it that important if FF's cover the event?

Hey guys and girls...There will be a re-run of the event in about a months time. As I'm organising it through Ausrotary I'm giving the members over there the option of a few dates via a poll. So keep and eye out in this thread for the new date which will be posted in just over a weeks time. There are plenty people keen on this style of event becoming regular, which I'll try to do over the cruising months.

Don't be sorry mate...It's not my car! My wife was kind enough to let me drive her car on my cruise as my 1300 isn't going yet.

Just got in from a shortened cruise. I must say I was impressed with the die hards with just under 40 cars at the first meet point, it was very cool to see more than just Mazdas parked along side each other. There was a good mix of Dattos, Toyotas and a couple Hondas throw in just to mix it up even more. Even though the weather was ordinary we still cruised to Sugarloaf for a brief stop, having such a small group ment we all went into Yarra Glen and raided the local bakery for some hot food. Some departed for home from there so we all decided as a group to call it quits for the day and re-schedule the cruise for later in the year when hopefully the weather is nicer. Thanks again to all those who made the effort to come out! Great to meet some new people and see some new rides! Unfortunately I forgot my camera :jamie: So if anyone has some good shots please post them up. Keep and eye on this thread for the new date...

Just checked Bom, rain is currently at Border Town, should give us a few hours up our sleaves.

If the weather is bad on the day, i'll more than likely turn it into a social meet and great and post pone the actual cruise.

That is dodgy as...until some smart ass like me come along and runs a paint thickness gauge which has an accuracy of about 1-2 microns :dance:

Out of 65 views of the map, there has been 58 downloads so far!

I know it sounds a little silly, but I'd prefer to keep it as chrome bumper cruise. Don't despair, if this takes off I'll run more Jap or small car runs which may include Escorts, small euros.

Hey peeps, not too far off now! Too bad the likelyhood of my 1300 being there is very slim!

Well I'm having teething problems with my car, which was supposed to be on the road for Springnats 2008, which I missed then tired for Easternats...which I also missed :wink: The issues have been, vaccum leak, to ecu and now trans. To let you know I'm building a narrow body Mazda 1300, 12a Turbo, GT35r roller, 3 speed manualised/transbraked Jatco, borg warner diff etc etc. Failing that, I'll be riding in my missus RX3/808 coupe.

Not too quickly...I'm still sorting my car out :wink:

Hey guy's, Though I'd introduce myself as the organiser of the cruise...HI! :lol: Just to save any confusion, there is absolutely no issue with the age of the vehicle so long as it was built in Japan and has chrome bumper bars, if it ain't got chrome (or Steel) it must be rotary powered 8/ There is quite a bit of interest around the place so far, my aim is to get as many old school Jap cars in the one place as possible, yes I know we all have a certain love of one make, but I think all us ol' school Jappers should stick together...pretty tired of going to cuises and being surrounded by bommodores! Just in case you're wondering...I've owned a Toyota in the past a neat TA22 :sob:
