  13. Not really more serious in theory, of course people get carried away though. Standard chassis plans, standard bodies are cheap, all standard components from your donor car (suspension/diff/gearbox/engine/steering/wheels) and must be setup to run left or right turns. In theory it limits expensive mods and keeps racing close. The standard chassis was used mainly for the look and so you didn't have to find a good condition body. Also keeps all your safety gear like roll cage the same for everyone. Basically can use any of the 1200 Datsun or 3K Toyotas which are rusting out all over the place. Callum
  14. Interesting approach. Do you run with this done to just one side or both? I would think if you are only going one way around the track just cambering up the outside wheel would work quite well and lessen the track widening effect. A similar class is run here in NZ but just uses donor cars with a standard spec chassis and body, called ministocks. Have to be able to run the track both ways as well so makes it a bit more of a level playing field. Supposed to be a cheap race series to get young people into the sport but as usual some parents get a bit carried away and a top spec car can cost up to $30k. Total bullshit for what is supposed to be standard motors. http://www.ministock.co.nz/ Callum
