  1. aha! was just reading on this just now...on the other forums, could have been my fourth mx32! But i'm a week too late... i have 3 atm! haha... good price..worth a lot more than what was sold for imho, these cars will only ever go up in price from now on.. nostalgic gangsta jap! Solid cars @ only 1000kg and an engine bay to fit the best engines.. hi5!
  2. hey guys, just changing my toyoglide to a k40. Forgot to put the clips from the thrust bearing housing to the fork on before i put the thrust bearing on. Tried to modify the clips but completetly stuffed them up... my question is where am i able to source replacement clips from? Also if a bang out the Brand new thrust bearing will i damage it? also if anyone could draw a diagram as to how the clips sit.. i have a fair idea.. but would like confirmation. much thanks

  7. soOO i had an altercation with a random curb... :yes: things got outta hand.. and he pulled a sneaky swift sucker punch on my right front wheel whilst i was picking up my dropped fone from the floor.. anyhows i really got knocked the feck out.. :D :P :( got the wobbles.. but no external injuries... but next morning.. i seemed to have internal bruising..?? blah blah... hehe anyways guys.. after hitting and climbing the curb, next day: *on braking and pulling up for a red light she stalls.. *hard start up *rough idle *doesn't hold idle..stalls apparently these are common symptoms after a hard knock...?? so i've read quickly with a google search.. WHAT HAS HAPPENNED? also visual inspection on front end suspension shows nothing bent.. but car feels like it's tripping over it's own foot when turning... steering wheel 45degrees to the left to keep a straight line... feels like wheel wants to fall off but everything is per normal and tight.. ok getting to my question... whatcomponents get's adjusted during a wheel alignment? please share ur brains... thanks dudes! :D

  9. OH OH.. you've just gone 180 degrees to what Felix and i were thinking Cam man! i'm thinking: "flicking the adjuster wheel to go upwards, thus srew driver handle goes down", for tightening?? eek! A CONFUSCIOUS DAY...

  12. here's a pic of me old ae with choppy kings and sierra's in the rear for u guys to guage.. on 14"s here. solid ride, slides out awesome even without a welded diff. hmm interestin, so someone reckons they will fit in ke10's aswell huh? ;)
  13. ahh but my left drum is a pain in the bung hole.. last time a replaced the wheel cyclinder i had to take off the whole axle and bang the drum cover off, was so tight.. don't mind doing it just no time before work, needed quick answer.. but yes a 100% accurate reply ;)

  15. By ignition system you mean distributor and points right? Thing is i get it tuned (timing) all smooth and everthing then about a month later.. it's out of wack again.. still good but not a smooth idle like first tuned. why..... just old cars i spose? My carb needs a reco soon though i think. but yeah thanks for the insight matey!
  16. guys, my 10 as of lately gives this massive SHUDDER from the engine.. if i shut her off too quickly after stopping, if i stop complety and wait 5secs then she's normally fine.. what could be wrong here? whilst i'm here can anyone reccommend a good place for carby reco in SA? ta.

  23. yeah i guess it's not too bad after pulling it off about 5 times now!! lol i had too pull the whole left axle out first go coz the drum cover wouldn't come off.. thought that was how it was meant to be.. haha i have about 3mm left on the shoes.. how low is too low?
